Clolonizing shoebox surface conditions

Hey everyone, so I have a shoebox of Albino right now, bulk substrate colonizing. It's about a couple of days away it seems like from full colonization. I want to get the surface conditions just right, and I know that little water beads should be beading up. I have little microscopic crystal looking ones, but very far and few between and scattered. So this morning I gave it a couple squirts and pumps of water and let it mist down. But how much and how big should these beads of water be? Like rain drop size? Should I mist anymore during colonization? My plan was not to, but I was unsure if I should keep misting the surface to maintain water beads for surface conditions? At the same time I don't want to make anything too wet. I need some guidance and help on what to do to maintain proper surface conditions.

Imo misting prior to full colonization runs the risk of matting the surface and over hydrating the substrate. When the substrate fully colonizes it bring out its own moisture to the surface due to the myc creating heat while its colonizing.
When its time for fruiting the introduction of increased fae is when youll mist. Evaporation of the surface moisture is your main pinning trigger. Let that process repeat a few times and youll see knots soon appear.

Dont mist before you need to.
Sometimes i dont even pop a shoebox lid till the fruits start to reach the top of it
I aim for pins before popping the lid and only do otherwise if needed due to conditions

the beads should be really tiny, kinda like if you look at dew on a spider web.

Well shit, I should not of done that then. I sprayed a couple squirts above the shoebox and let it fall on top of the surface. I'm not going to do that again. Now I'm worried I've fucked things up.

Nah itll be fine
Thats exactly how you mist though
Let it fall down onto the box from a distance like rain
Just put the lid on snapped and leave it
Long as temps good you should be fine
Idk what conditions are like where you live
You got a light source too i assume

Once wont cause harm. Repeated mistings and micromanagement is where one would inflict damage. [ prior to full colonization]

Too moist then standing water or pools of water could start to grow contamination.
Too dry mycelium starts to bruise and die could cause contamination from becoming weak.
