Transfer readiness assessment?
    #26589951 - 04/10/20 12:05 AM (3 years, 9 months ago)

I'm an agar newb.  Comfortable with the techniques, not comfortable with the growth dynamic.

Two plates I'm working on.  The one one the right is a "Brazilian" cubensis spore syringe with lots of startersites.  The one on the left is an APE LC syringe start.

Is there any reason to wait to pic some spots and start isolating?  I'm thinking the large mass on the upper right on the APE, and two of the larger sites of the spore syringe.

What say you, people of shroomery?

Shelter well.

just do some transfers from the edges of those colonies. You can do 3-4 transfers to each new plate and then you'll have a clearer picture of what's worth continuing work on.

These are ready for you to isolate from, no real reason to wait other than to let growth develop, but you'll see that more clearly on the new plates.
