HI all,
In Europe, where I live, it is not very easy to find an online retailer for HEPA filters. This is the only one I found that would she direct without having to write emails and wait for a representative to reply.
Anyway, I found this filter, it comes in H13 (> 99.95%) efficiency rating and in the size of roughly 600mm x 600mm (24"x24")
I'm puzzled by its surface appearance: all the filters I see have some sort of grill in front and they are smooth, this one has all these big slots and I'm worried the airflow might be uneven in the front with small areas with reduced pressure.. But maybe I'm just pondering too much.
The other question I have is this: what is the Static Pressure value of this filter? Or any other data that could be used by me to match a suitable blower?
I'm attaching the .pdf that the seller supplies that has all the tech data, I have circled in red (on page 2) the model that I'm interested in buying.
I'm copy/pasting the data here as well:
Nominal size (inch) :24x24x12 Actual size (mm): 592 x 592 x 292
Initial Resistance : at high airflow (m3/h) / (Pa) = 2500 / 260 at rated airflow (m3/h) / (Pa) = 2000 / 200 Final Resistance (typical) (Pa) = 600
Media area (m2) = 22,0 Filter Class EN1822 = H13
Thank you very much
Bob.

I would find a different one. 99.95% efficiency is sub standard. You need 99.99+ I'm pretty sure.

It's been said elsewhere on the forum that H14 grade is recommended. Though i don't know why exactly.
In Europe there are some filters called ultima mp which is minipleat/micropleat. Edmunter and Smoothcat both used these filters successfully.
