Best places for grain is pigeon feed shops and animal feed shops. Wheat I can get £6 25kg rye I use doves farm but pick out the ergot before use. I e use do es farm rice flour too and had success. Grass seed farm shops(I get mine free and got a huge sack if anyone wants some). Oats get cheap straight from farms. I got 50kg for a fiver. One farmer charged the other never.

I'm looking for a fridge to store cultures. I know some fridges are shit at maintaining a steady temp such as ones with freezer compartments as they have a defrost mode which warms the fridge up periodically. Also I want one with temperature control as sub tropical species require 8 to 10C

I chucked one out last week. No freezer bit and it was a small one like you'd have for beer only. It might still be at the ex's. Unless ya want new

Anybody got any ideas on where I could get a pressure cooker 23 Quart size range during this current climate?
I had to return one to amazon us and they just refunded the item not sending out the replacement I asked for.
Any ideas would be amazing. I’ve checked gumtree just incase.
Inline with a reasonable price also

International shipping still works, but it's very slow these days.

I’m happy with the time it’s going to take. I’ve got agar plates ready I want to do transfers with and cloning etc in the meantime.
A couple of weeks I’m not that fussed, I just don’t want to pay twice the amount for the product. Most on eBay are coming out like £200
Crazy times at the minute

Why did you have to send you PC back ? I had mine delivered from Amazon 2 weeks ago. I paid 120 for it with shipping and taxes

Hey peeps,
I've had a look thru some of the threads but struggling a bit as I'm a fucking retard. Ive got some reishi and lions mane on agar at the moment and just wondering where people are getting their sawdust or pellets etc as I'm going round in circles trying to find it. Also if i wanted to use the lions mane mycellium as a supplement would it just be grown straight on grain and then dried and blended into dust for powder or capsules. or on sawdust etc as most people grow it on. Just Paul stamets supplements say lions mane mycellium and finding the process used has been a pain in the arse!! Has anyone experience growing either?
also have a look round your local street markets for pressure cookers. i picked up 2 21 litre ones from lewisham market for 30 quid each. there pretty good, get 7 1 litre jars in. if that's any help?! Im gonna speak to a friend who is an engineer/fabricator and see if he has any ideas to mod something to make a bigger capacity one for the stove top. maybe a steaming cabinet or something. who knows, the worlds your oyster as they say!!

I got my sawdust of eBay, I got 40kg which is far too much for anyone, cheap as fuck. Have a look and you can find it just make sure it’s hardwood and not like fibre board or anything. I think mixed soft and hard is ok but you really want hardwood.
The soy pellets I got from an online local feed shop Here but you may find something more local to you.
As regards to making supplements I have absolutely no idea.

Just visit your local timber store and tell them that you would collect the sawdust for growing shrooms they would be happy to help you as it's just waste for them. I think most probably your are going to find mixed sawdust but if you are lucky there will be hardwood too.

The bottom wasn’t flat for some reason when it arrived. Rocked a little when sat on the table.
Definitely wasn’t risking it so returned it. Asked for a replacement but they just sent an email saying we are refunding you.
I got it for £112 after taxes and it was here in a week. Looking at roughly £150 off eBay now and anywhere up to a months delivery time

I'd order another one from amazon man. Mine came fine, things do happen and I would of sent it back too.

If struggling for a presto have a look at the Hawkins I think it's 21l and goes 15psi. Last I see it was around 80 quid.

I’ve got a presto ordered now mate, thanks for the heads up.
I did have a look at the Hawkins but I was happier with the presto. Just gona take a good few weeks.
I’ve got a little 12 psi one that I can at least be learning agar with in the mean time
