It's not a stupid question, it just doesn't make sense. If you've had a jar that's fully colonized for the last few weeks then doing a G2G transfer will just colonize other jars. Not sure why you're concerned about pinning or even got the idea that would happen after doing G2G?

Because of the fresh air, the filters dont diffuse oxygen.

I think you're a little misunderstood on what causes pinning. Even if you left the lid off of your colonized jar for a few days you'd be lucky to see pins form. Don't worry about the few minutes while you G2G.
Ideally, you should be using the whole colonized jar to transfer to several other jars. I typically transfer to 5-6qts of sterilized grain with every 1qt of colonized spawn.

Im doing half of one because I fucked up, alot of my jars had contams in them. I was an idiot and pcd my jars all at the same time, including the master jars. I also think my tape is phony or something too because I have three jars with white growth and two, i tossed...I only inoculated two jars lol. Irrelevant but yeah so im only g2ging one jar (so just half) and I cant even tell if its just contamination. This grain business is new, I started with pf tek, and everything went right and it was my first time, but this is kind of a disaster. lol NOOB.

if I was you I will spawn that single one jar in a mini mono, and try to see if something came out. don't bother yourself with G2G, if you're not sure of the spawn

Damn spawn it? I have three jars with white growth, but i think the one I want to spawn isnt even mycelium, theres no lattice like at all. Its just spots of white on the grains, in which case the other two are definitely contaminated heavily, probably. i might bury them all.

Its been 2 months, of no incubation really. Its not thick white growth as you can see, but its basically the same from every side.
