So I put some ms solution on a agar plate and they've germinated but I now notice possible bacteria. Is it bacillus? I'll transfer a but if mycelium onto a new one tomorrow but I'm wanting to know what the yellow/brown bit is.

wait for the plate to colonize much more so you can find some clean spots and always look from underneath using a light which you’re doing. I like to shine my phone light under and from above to find the contams and pick the good spots. It always takes a couple transfers to get rid of contams. Good luck!!!

I thought I should transfer sooner so the bacteria hasn't got chance to grow into the myc ? Also say the largest but if myc, would that have multiple sub strains within that? Thank you for your input

Looks a bit like bacteria, but could also be just a stain from the syringe. Observe it for a few days if it grows.

Transfering early to evade contams is a good idea but it's too soon yet
