I have some fluffly balls and I think that I get cobweb, is it?

Are cobwebs structured like fluffy balls? :coolcat:

He he...just fluffy mycelium it looks like. You should look at pictures of real cobweb. It’s disgusting and unmistakable. Grey or darker white. And it grows insanely fast.

Nice clusters by the way 👍 what type are you growing there? They look cool

I think it's just mush mycellium.  If it's cobweb you'll know soon enough cause it will sweep your entire substrate in like a day or two.  I've rarely encountered it, not to my recollection ever after pinning, only from contaminated jars of some kind (prolly bacterial) and maybe with a straw grow.

--------------------

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister.  I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave.  I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent.
Triggered yet?

Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."

No, this does not look right...

How can I know the status of my mushies? I mean, how can I know if they are too dry or too wet?
