mixed grain and sawdust spawn for reishi

Hey peoples

Has anyone tried mixing a bit of sawdust in with their grain spawn to shorten the jump-off time into all wood fruiting blocks?
Are there any good threads or resources describing the methods and results?

I haven't grown a ton of reishi, but have grown it on a few different substrates.  In my experience, reishi colonizes everything AGGRESSIVELY.  If you're having specific issues, post about them in detail, otherwise don't lose any sleep.
