Yeah, I'm low risk(afaik, at least) and while I am concerned about a repeat of The Spanish Flu, I am in absolutely noooooo rush to get this. I don't want to get it at all, but if I had to choose, I'd rather get infected after the medical and science community understands what we're dealing with a little better and how to treat it more effectively.

Build up your antibodies now on the first weak wave before you die from the killer second wave.
Are you suggesting that young people should deliberately infect themselves with SARS-CoV?
Yes.

You should at least consider several of the negative scenarios doing something like that could potentially produce: 1) They might not be able to fight it off, even if they are healthy, 2) they could pass it on to loved ones or complete strangers, unintentionally, 3) they would put an undue strain on the already overburdened healthcare workers combating this disease, and 4) they would aid in the speed at which the virus mutates, potentially for the worse.
Get imaginative, there are many other reasons why your suggestion is a bad idea. Even if you are trolling, and I hope you are, some people might actually do something stupid by hearing you say what you just did.

Where did you receive your medical degree? Because you are advocating for something that the overwhelming majority of doctors do not. Let me guess...

A durable option would be to look into getting an actual gas mask.
I've used n95 masks for shoveling dry dusty soil before and they kind of suck anyway.
Can get surplus Israeli civilian gas mask for 40 to 70 bucks. Filters rated 99.99%
Lookup 40mm NATO filters. They last for 8 to 10 hours I believe and run between 20 and 40 bucks for replacements. Cheaper if you buy in bulk. Just make sure you get new filters.
The mask fits tight around the face and provides eye protection, too.
Also has a place to attach water bottle so you can hydrate without taking the mask off.
The eyes don't fog up either because there is a valve that opens to exhaust your breath and it closes to inhale.
Depending on how often you would need to wear it, could quickly become cost prohibitive @ 20 to 40 bucks per 8 hour shift if you need it the entire time. But it is an option.
Hopefully it'll only be a few more weeks until things start clearing up for most of us.

Right around 31m or so, he goes into how these shop towels have been outperforming other materials being tested.
