Ok!
I'm much more confident about this find! Think I might have a small goldmine here, and there were plenty of smaller ones left over if confirmation is good.
These were found in Tanbark on top of naturally occurring mulch in a garden bed.
What do you think?

I find these and think they are Parasola conopilus.

Damn... Yeah I can see the heads have form fairly perfect parabolas. Also no blue bruising by the looks of things.
Do most the active shroms in Victoria get the magical blue?
I have been doing research myself, but still find it hard to spot exactly what I'm looking for when identifying...

Click on "Subaeruginosa Guide" in my sig. They are the most common active shroom in south eastern Australia and are what you are looking for. Active shrooms generally bruise blue yes.

Thanks guys! We were quite sure that these were the things that we were looking for, but I can see the differences now.
Really exciting to get in to this hobby. Can't wait to find the fun ones!

Just a little update, I found These specimens in the same sort of area. Also Parasola conopilus? Some look a little different...

There were HUNDREDS of these suckers, so hoping at least a few are good....

Thanks OOISI Yeah I've checked that out. I thought some of the caps looked somewhat similar, but the stems do look quite different, and no blue.
Is a bit frustrating. I've been out looking every day for the last week (strictly adhering to COVID19 conditions) but can't come across anything I'm sure the season will set in.
