Best Golden Teacher cakes shipped to USA?

Hello,
I bought some spores from ------------- and followed the directions for the PF Tek rice/vermiculite cake well enough I feel. I had to blend brown rice flour b/c the store was out. No signs of contamination yet, but it's been over a week though with no fuzzy white and I'm giving up soon...
I at first had the jars on a seed tray warmer, but it was way too hot for the first day or two. Now they're over the counter light in a cupboard and it's in the low 70's F.
Can anyone recommend the best way to just get the mycelium cakes delivered? I was hoping to microdose (and macrodose) during this quaratine. There are several European vendors to choose from I saw. Any bad stories about authorities checking packages or any other wisdom?
Thanks. Newb
Mod Edit: No Spore Source referencing.

Remove the name of the distributor.
Keep them 75-80. How hot did they get on that warmer? Your distributor is not well reviewed.

Yeah, definetly edit and take out the name of where you got the spores. They are for microscopy use only, dont wanna get anyone in trouble Like rum said, it can take quite awhile to actually see growth. Just be patient for now

I'd be less worried about customs, and more worried about getting shafted by a shitty vendor...

I'd be pretty shocked if mycelium cakes survived the transatlantic trip.

Why don't you just buy within the US if you live in the US?
PF cakes are gonna be enough to get you maybe a couple doses of trips in about 2 months from now. If you're trying to get some right now during this quarantine you're gonna have to hit up your friendly neighborhood drug dealer and see if he's got any connects.
Pretty much anything you do from spore syringes is gonna take a while though, so you're really out of luck if you want to have some mushrooms during the quarantine. My advice would be to do some thorough research on more modern growing methods and decide if you really want to invest the time and money into doing it right. Otherwise, the price-value benefit just really isn't there. Different situations for everyone though, and we're all here to help on the forums if you have any other questions.

Yeah, as with most stuff unless you are willing to put in the time and effort to learn to do it right it's better to pay a professional.
