Habitat: Where does it grow? Pine forest plantation outside of Canberra,ACT. Growing amongst pine needles.
Gills: Close up in pic
Stem: In pic
Cap: Different shapes in pic
Spore print color: Spore print coming
Bruising: Seems to be in flesh and underneath cap (in pic).
Other information: Heavy rain for the last couple of days. Found scattered and some grouped together. Quite a few around.

Remember to look for blue bruising after you pick them.

i found these in the exact same spot too. I think there is bluing at times but there isnt lol

not sure what those are. not psilocybe or active. take a spore print if you wanna know more.. check the list of actives in your area idk if cyans would be there unless somebody's bee spreading them locally

Yeah there are pan cyans around. I'll start to focus on just the bluing now on specimens

Sorry i thought wavy caps were subs... Would you say there is bluing on this stem? I'm trying to get my head around the bluing.

So the bluing there is at the very bottom of the stem

Yeah its essentially the start of the season. They have been found in Melbourne and New Zealand, because their climates are more suited and they always fruit there first. They have also been found in NSW cause they also generally get alot of rain but its a big state so it depends where. I havent been keeping track.
I admire your persistence. If you keep at it you might find them soon, but dont expect anything for at least another fortnight. Even experienced hunters arent finding them yet. Also you need to do a bit more research.
My tips: bluing and white stems. The stems can have browning (mottling) or greying at the base, this is somewhat uncommon, especially greying but overall they are WHITE. Caps can be yellow, orange, reddish brown, brown. So cap colour is more variable.
But remember white stems, brown/caramel/orange caps and bluing. It should also be in a habitat with wood, forest/woodland or woodchip.
