They Look To Be Protostropharia Semiglobata (Non Active), Or Something Similar.

Your wasting your time in cow pastures in California, Psilocybe cubensis doesn't grow their nor do other psychoactive dung loving mushrooms.

Panaeolus Cinctulus Does Grow On Dung, But It Also Can Grow On Well Fertilized Lawns & Grass, Sometimes Flower Beds Too. So It Can't Be Classified Soley As A Dung Loving Species.

your right, I forgot about that one, probably because they have never appealed to me due to the large amounts of insect larvae in them, it grosses me out to much.

^ Yeah, the critters have forced me to pitch a few edibles. The Black Trumpet I found was surprisingly clean with the exception of one tiny maggot and one tiny centipede (who now resides on our slope... hope he's doing well).
