After listening to joe rogan talking about MMA so much I want to watch my first fight. What do you guys recommend for a first fight to watch? I want it to be a good, brutal fight.

1st one ever with know weight classes and where you could soccer ball kick dudes in head in the ground. Think that's the one the skinny kid fought the sumo wrestler and kicked him in the head like 3 rimes before it was stopped.
Sauce: Warnng violence

Rory MacDonald v Robbie Lawler 1
I can't recall ever seeing such a violent, bloody war. Somebody could have easily died that night. Thank God it didn't go that way
The damage both of those men took was insane. And I will never forget when the final buzzer sounds and MacDonald immediately drops to his knees and is leaking blood everywhere and just covers his face with his hands and starts rocking back and forth because he is in so much pain... one of the most iconic post fight images ever taken IMO. A BEAUTIFUL example of high an uber high level southpaw fighting an uber high level orthodox striker, one of the best examples I've seen in MMA. The two make such beautiful use of angles, inside and outside scoring etc. Mastery on every level
Both guys probably shaved 5+ years off their lives due to damage incurred that night

I think I'm watching the same fight it's 189. I just finished round 2 and about to watch round 3 it looks like it's gonna be a good fight edit: just watched the 3rd round those knees at the end of the 3rd round were amazing

I'm a huge MMA fan. If you're brand new, watch these in order. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I've been following MMA fights and MMA gossip for a long time.
1. Forrest Griffin vs Stephan Bonnar (this is considered the most important fight in UFC history and it's a slobberknocker) 2. Forrest Griffin vs Shogun 1 (there's also a rematch if you're interested) 3. Diego Sanchez vs Karo Parisyan 4. Matt Hughes vs Frank Trigg 1 & 2 5. Matt Hughes vs BJ Penn (there's also a rematch if you're interested) 5. Matt Hughes vs Georges St. Pierre 1 (there's also a rematch if you're interested) 6. Georges St. Pierre vs Matt Serra 1 (there's also a rematch if you're interested) 7. Rampage vs Ricardo Arona (this is from Pride Fighting Championship, but everyone agrees this was Rampage in his prime, and prime Rampage was the most entertaining MMA fighter) 8. Rampage vs Wanderlei Silva 1 & 2 9. CroCop vs Wanderlei Silva 10. Chuck Liddell vs Vernon White 11. Chuck Liddell vs Randy Couture 1 & 2 12. Chuck Liddell vs Jeremy Horn 13. Chuck Liddell vs Babalu Sobral 14. Chuck Liddell vs Rampage 15. Rampage vs Wanderlei Silva 3 16. Anderson Silva vs Chris Leben 17. Anderson Silva vs Rich Franklin 1 (there's also a rematch if you're interested) 18. Anderson Silva vs Yushin Okami 19. Anderson Silva vs Vitor Belfort 20. Anderson Silva vs Chris Weidman

Here’s a good one. You really need to know the backstory leading up to the fight but the moral of the story is be wise about how you run your mouth.. Askren vs Masvidal

Cool thats Gerard Gordeau
His brother was a janitor at my school. Sometimes when he filled in (for teachers being sick or something) he showed us fights from his brother. Also one time a brought a cartoon called Tarzoon. I think he got in trouble for that one
Gerard still runs a brutal gym in my town

Great, let me know how like the rest of the matches!
Ruthless Robbie Lawler is one of my favorite fighters. Easily in my top 5. The guy doesn't fight enough, honestly.
With that said, if you wanna see another grueling 5 rounder, watch Lawler vs Condit. And also, my personal favorite... Robbie Lawler vs Melvin Manhoef.
