Cool pics and ID request 1

Happy Saturday. I went on an unintended adventure this morning to find a field point I lodged in a tree a few weeks ago. I didn’t have a knife or pliers at the time and I thought it’d be easy to find the spot again later if I felt like getting it out. Well it took 3+ hours but I eventually found it and saw some cool stuff along the way.
So just a couple cool views and then this real strange purple alien looking guy. It’s some kind of fungi?

And then I found these cool turkey tail style things with purple spores maybe? They looked real cool up close. And also the Tahiti hut/boobie looking gals, any idea what those are with the pics I got?

Thanks for lookin ✊

Fun post. I am still new at this, so I'm just going to ask where in general are these fungi located?

Hey 👋 I’m in Maryland, not too far from Annapolis.

Thank you! And yes I think those are gorgeous. I just did some reading and I hadn’t realized that they were upside down, the purple is on the bottom. They were growing on a huge tree that fell down.
Next time I see those mushrooms I will get a spore print. I think they look awesome so I didn’t want to take a cap lol.

Ah, east coast - I am west. Anyway, Inocybe seems likely for the last three shots... some sort of Fiberhead? I have some similar shots (but of west coast species).

Thanks dj410. I think I found a bunch of your stuff while looking at ovoid info in MD 👍

Awesome! That is my intention, to make it a little easier for those new to the game. You'll have to look further west or north away from brackish water for ovoids. I've had much success off the little Putuxent river near Columbia and Ft. Meade. If you go further toward DC, look for those large stream restoration projects that user koods refers to in those forums with lots of wood chips. Seasons already on, good luck!
