That's a neat little toad!

Got out with the kids hunting chants this past weekend and almost stepped on a little Blind ground snake. The meripilus are out in force too!! I've never seen so many of these in one spot like I have this year.

That’s either a red belly or a dekays. Both are harmless. I’m leaning more towards red belly. Did you pick it up by any chance and see the underside?

Came Home From Work The Other Day, Went To Unlock My Front Door & There Was A Praying Mantis Guarding My Deadbolt.

I Tried To Shoo Him Away So I Could Get The Key In & He Flew Straight At My Face. I Damn Near Did A Back Flip Trying To Dodge Him

I would almost swear that snake is looking at you going "Hey, wus ssssup"

They are beautiful to me, really like seeing them after they have shed and are all bright and shiny like a new car.

Damn gorgeous copperhead DocG!!! It makes me so angry when people needlessly kill snakes out of ignorance and disproportionate fear.

Had I not been stupid, I would still have a usable finger

That looks about just as big as the one that bit me.

It sure is a beauty to be gazed upon, at safe distances :awesomenod:

water moccasins are the most aggressive snake I have ever encountered.  Rattle snakes are passive compared to a moccasin in my opinion. When I was about 15 I seen a guy get bit through a wetsuit underwater on the Perdido river without provocation.

I love that video!!!!! Thays a huge black rat snake for sure. Pretty neat how he/she seems more curious than anything, usually when i see them they're ready to strike or running away.

Yeah that was the first thing I noticed about her she was chillest snake I've ever seen. I sat there just observing for like a half hour. Never once coiled up or hissed at me. The snake seemed genuinely interested in the interaction and I feel blessed to have spent so much time with such a beautiful creature. Maybe they get more docile when they grow to that size because they don't have many natural predators so they just vibin.
