Is this normal. There are solid white balls forming on top of the bulk substrate

Conditions are perfect. I think maybe my temps were too high. After researching I’m thinking it’s what’s called overlay

Yep
The causes of overlay are:
- too much FAE during vegetation
- casing surface is too dry
- the air temperature remains too high.
Check all variants
