Travelling with mushrooms during the pandemic

Do you feel roads, especially highways and interstates, are unsafe to travel on now due to coronavirus measures? My state has not set up checkpoints or anything but I have heard of others that are trying to or already have.
Do you think police are pulling over cars simply due to out of state licenses? I want to get some mushrooms from point A to point B but just worry a bit. I've done it before, just not when the roads are so empty with commuter cars.

depends how much you're transporting, if it's just a bit stick them in a jar, put the jar in a box with a load of tinned food/food supplies, so you have an excuse to travel - you're taking some food to a friend/relative who has to self isolate, have some BS story ready about how your friend/relative is an ER Nurse caught covid at work now stuck at home not allowed out etc. if they spot the shrooms and say anything, say they're wild Agaricus campestris to go in stoganoff or something.
If it's a lot, seal in tupperware, or vac pack, remove your back seat, stick it under the seat, secure that mother back down well, pack a load of boxes of food/clothes whatever on the seat and in the footwell so any trooper has a real ballache to go through it all, by the time anyone has gone through the boxes and everything else checks out (including your story) they won't be bothered about unscrewing a back seat (don't chew up/mark the screws when you do it)
Make sure your paperwork is in order, and the vehicle is too, no tail lights/signals out, drive like you're on your driving test, stick to the speed limit.
if you do get pulled, act very chill, don't give them any grief.. yes sir, no sir, 3 bags full sir, only offer your pre-prepared story if they ask.

Thanks for the replies. I live in a relaxed, freedom-loving state but the opioid crisis is really bad here so the state troopers here and in the neighboring state I need to go to are fucking rough.
My car is up to date and has all lights working, thank God.
I agree with having a good plan for talking with the cops. I have done work in social services and was considering using going down to our "sister organization" to pick up supplies we're short on as an excuse and have the name of a human services org down there logged in my brain in case they ask.
It isn't an amount that'd be easily hidden so I'll look into the seats for sure. My car is a little messy anyway, it looks like I live out of it a bit, so i can throw em in a couple backpacks since they tend to blend in.
My anxiety is primarily based around state borders being heavily monitered. I hear about states like florida setting up checkpoints and I've heard talk about locals pushing for that here so I just dont wanna get fucked over but I also definitely need to get these to where they're goin. My state is very relaxed but this situation has me a bit shook.

It would be best to clean your car a bit so it doesn't look like you might be living in it. People who live in their cars keep their drugs in their cars instead of leaving them at home like most people, so cops like to search them. Helps to have a few bags of groceries with you that you are bringing to someone who is self quarantining.

Thankfully the police aren’t really pulling anyone over here unless they Have to. They don’t want to get sick either
