Definitely, rum. Is it safe to leave with other jars or should I move as precaution

New pics. I'm concerned about the second one, and the first one starting to wonder if this is cob web mold

this is what cobweb mold looks like.

can't say for sure while they're in the jars.

you can spray hydrogen peroxide on the cobweb to get rid of it

Thanks Nirvana, that was helpful. Now I'm not feeling like that's cobweb 🤷‍♂️

I'm wondering if the line yellowing there is natural. Haven't seen that before in my few past successful grows

It's looking more like the fuzzy kind of mycelium every day.
The yellow is metabolites which could mean a contamination.
But if it's only some bacteria it can still work out good.
Now just gotta wait to see if it finishes colonizing.

Yeah there's two kinds that I know of you have the ropy rhizo kind
then a fuzzy kind called tomatilos or something lol I'm off a lot on
the terminology. But yes fruit will grow off either kind.

Interesting. I think this is a jar I accidentally knocked a bit taking out of pot. The other Jar has similar myc but none of that yellowing. Still really strange how long these took

Mycelium is pure white. Pure, pure white. Anything that is grey is and in growing in a haphazard manner like in your pics is not mushroom mycelium. I suggest you take a look at mycelium growing on brf and compare them to what is growing in your jar.

Yeah, I've had just a few successful grows under my belt to feel really iffy about this jar. A couple others are the other kind of mycelium rum mentioned without that yellow streak

Different jar, looks like mycelium trying to start here, but concerned about that darkness in the middle of it. I'll give it a couple days as well.

Hmmm yeah that does look a little funny. An observation too,
I think you're not putting the needle in far enough and are
depositing spore solution in the verm layer a little which is
kinda bad news bears cause it has to stay dry to stay effective.

Yeah this was my first grow in months so I clearly botched like half of these. On the bright side, the replacement syringes from the vendor are already showing signs of mycelium 4 days later and I made sure to not noc' so far up
