Parasitic mold?

So I have a few pasty plates going right now with otherwise beautiful mycelium. I'm on T3s right now. However when I open them up after I do transfers I'll have 2 out of 3 that smell minty. Upon get further inspection the mycelium inside looks fuzzy on top of the mycelium.
Is it trichoderma hitching a ride on the mycelium?
Will I have to start new with new germ plates?
Will upload pics later today.

Minty smell is always impending doom from what I've experienced.
On a petri dish though? Who smells petri dishes, that doesn't sound like very sterile procedure.
Throw that pic up.

Yea may have goten in there when you smelled last time.
You could try the re pour method. To try and separate the mycelium with any nasties riding along.

After I did my transfers in a SAB and cut all the wedges out I would give it a wiff. I'll put the pics up right now.

Looks fine through the plastic but when i open it up it looks a little fuzzy

Heres what they look like through the plastic. These have never been opened so they might be fine but they are from the same set of t1 plates so idk.

I would think a week or so should be long enough to turn green right? Or will it just hide itself until i go to inoculate my masters and then contam on me? This shit hurts man, had high hopes for these..

That shiny halo showing in the open plate is a slow mold. It sporulates off-white, you'll only see it if you isolate it on another plate. Sometimes it will surround and totally halt the mush myc growth. Sometimes the mush myc will overtake it and look normal. You can take it to grains, it will double the time for full colonization and the same when spawned to bulk. Even the shrooms grow much more slowly, I would say 3x slower, they will look stalled. I have several of these experimental tubs going, still learning from them. Go back to spores.
