Tiny blue spots on colonized jars
    #26574632 - 04/03/20 06:43 AM (3 years, 10 months ago)

Hi guys! I'm new into the forum. I hope you are having a great day in spite of what we are going through the world...
I got a question, I'm into my first time growing p. Cubensis. I've inocculated 9 jars of wheat, of which two of them have these little tiny somewhat blueish spots (each jar has just one spot). Do you think it is contamination?

Jar A:

Jar B:

I'm going to let them sit for another few days and see if it progress or stays that size.
If it is, could some other spots be saved (G2G) or should I throw the grain away?

It looks like either bruising to me or the color of the grains behind
it coming through the mycelium and the light color being filtered by the
glass of the jar. As long as it's not green you're probably good to go
but wait till someone else chimes here too.
