Know Someone with Covid-19? Share

So I went on a date in early February, it went great, had plans to go on another, talked/texted a lot. Then she told me she was one of the first people in my state to get covid-19. Continue texting, said it felt awful but according to her doctors her case "was not too bad".
Well as of 2 days ago she is no longer is responding to texts. I fear the worst, but hope she decided to just ghost me for some reason. Have not had a lot of deaths in my state yet but... still. Even though it was one date and a month of talking and texting it feels terrible, and feels good to get this off my mind and tell you guys.
Please share any stories you have, good/bad/otherwise. Personalize this tragedy so maybe some people take it more seriously (most shroomerites seem to have taken this seriously from early on though)

Hopefully you're just being ghosted. Depending on her age, a lot of the more severe cases in younger people seem to get reported on publicly
3 of my cousins now have it, possibly soon to be 4 (another cousin who's been taking care of them) and maybe but hopefully not their newborn.
One was hospitalized, she couldnt stop coughing and could not get oxygen into her lungs. Couldn't walk without passing out. She's done 4 nights in the hospital and is set to be released today, as long as she can walk 100 feet and not pass out.
The other two said it felt like the worst flu of their life, completely knocked them down for over a week now. The virus is bad enough, the anxiety about it turning for the worse seems to be torture.
They all likely got it from each other, apparently there's a picture of them on facebook at a bar together the night before restaurants got shut down, people in the comments telling them about social distancing

I can't smell at all which is apparently a symptom. Other than that I only have mild cold symptoms. Maybe I have it, who knows.

Hopefully you just have sinusitis or some shit. I haven't been able to smell well for almost a year and a half from that shit.
A friend of mine is a suspicious case, along with his gf because some moron who went to a festival (which my government thought it was a good idea not to cancel) and came down with covid decided to work near him. They're now in quarantine with no symptoms.
A friend of mine who's in europe came down with it pretty hard, with awful body aches, stomach aches, fever, headaches, couldn't look at light without it hurting... She's fine now and thankfully didn't land in the hospital, but if that's a mild case I don't wanna know what a severe case is like.

I had a headache, sore throat, runny nose, ear aches, and a cough for about a week in total. I still have a slight cough. All other symptoms gone now.
The sore throat was really mild.
Everyone else in my house caught the same thing, as well. Same symptoms.
It's basically gone now. I hope I fucking got the mild version but I probably caught something else and still gonna get covid fucked, we'll see.

The flu is still lingering and allergy season is starting strong.
Hopefully an antibody test is available soon

Honestly when I'm sick I definitely stop replying to pretty much everyone but the essentials(ma and pop, and work, and anyone I live with), and just kind of sleep my way through recovery. It takes too much out to me to be even remotely social - let alone continue dating comms, it's just way too much energy to even worry about it.
My guess if you'll get a text in the coming weeks. Or she ghosted you. But I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet.
'Mild' cases can and do still get pretty wicked, and can include pneumonia, so I can see how recovery would take all your energy.
My SIL's father tested positive last week after feeling ill for a bit and having contact with a colleague who tested positive, he has a pre-existing lung injury(he tore it a while back), and is a smoker, but is otherwise a fit and healthy 60 year old. He seems like he's on the other side of it, and is gonna be okay without hospitalization. Knock on wood. He said it got a bit rough there this past week, but he's feeling better.
Also said that he started feeling a bit better over the weekend, started to exert himself a little, just doing some simple housekeeping, and ended up right back on his ass feeling like shit for several days, and only now is it starting to get better again. So moral of the story is that if and when you get this, do. not. push. it. Rest, and get yourself completely well before you get up and try and get back to things.

I 100% agree with this, and this is probably exactly it. I'm the same way when I get sick... in general leave me alone unless i'm dying, I just want to sleep and have 0 energy to waste pn talking/interacting with others.
