potency is not everything!!!!!! but for the best ease/potency ratio pan trops are the way to go. AFOAF is having excellent luck with the pan trops on dung.
ive as yet seen no one sucessfully growing out azures indoors
except allogations of a refrigerator method.

Psilocybe azurescen is said to be the most potent mushroom, but this is only on the average. You can't expect them to be the most potent all the time. I believe Psilocybe semilanceata was recorded to contain the highest amounts of psilocybin/cin ever. Just look at home grown cubes, sometimes they are extremly potent, and others they are quite weak. Sometimes your cubes are as potent as any azures out there, and others they are comparable to pelliculosa in potency.
On the subject of Psilocybe cyanescens and Panaeolus(copelandia) cyanescens, they are two totally different mushrooms, this is commom sense if you passed freshman science i high school.

actually i believ there are pics of the fridge method, and i honestly can't see why it wouldn't work, but probably not worth the effort, if you can just do it outdoors or pic em

Hm I have answered this qwuestion on several ocassions. Both Pollock (1978), Gartz and Stijve as well As Ott and bigwood (1981, 1982) show that baby Psilocybe cyanescens are the most potent of the 188 species of psilocybian containing mushrooms. Some collections have yielded more than ten highs from one gram of primordia ane more than 80 doses in a single dried ounce.
Of course Psilocyeb azurescens is potent eating one large shroom can get a person off extrememly well buit tow to three small P. cyanescens weighing 3-4 grams fresh can also fry a person and be as much as 3/4 lighter than the single cyanescens or azurescens shroom.
I also have some other charts from Paul which he sent me a long time ago with even different figurwes for his analysis.
mjshroomer and it was Gartz and Stamets who named the mushroom and Gartz who did the chemical analysis.
Anyway, you can all believe what you want to. PErcentages in fresh and dried weights do not affect the average mushroomer looking to get high or establish a religious connection.
have a shroomy day.
And I posted this thios morning but it must have not registered.

Psilocybe cyanescens is the most potent mushroom on the planet. Per-gram weight of Ps. cyanescens vs. the commercially grown Ps. cubensis has much, much more volume per weght of psilocybine and psilocine.
I, myself, have not performed any bioassays concerning Ps. azurescens. Based on reputable mycologists and their accounts of Ps. azurescens, I'll have to have to sway towards their opinions that Ps. cyanescens is definitely the MOST potent of all Psilocybian species.
3 small, one could consider premature species, sent an avid mushroom hunter(experienced such as I am) levels upon levels of untouched areas in the mind that Ps. semilanceata or the "Proclaimed Kick-ass, extremely potent, commercially grown " Ps. cubensis ever has.
I could be biased upon the fact that I found them myself .
Also, I'll have to respect the elders' opinions and leave it at that.
Psilocybe cyanescens is the most potent psilocybian species(mushroom containing Psilocybin and/or Psilocin) on Earth.
