Yeah although they aren't poisonous, they definitely aren't really considered a choice edible by many.

Really? haha maybe I should give them a try then. I got turned off from them after reading about their edibility.

Trust me, man, they are really good!
I have never once gotten sick from eating them either.
All the good mushrooms grow in my state, just not in this horrible town that I moved to.
I have found ovoids, active gymnoplius, active pluteus, lacrymaria, blewits, cinctulus, etc, and not a one of those mushrooms can be found in my town.
I am fortunate enough to get morels, and on rare occasions oysters and chickens though, so it's not totally devoid of fungus

I used to live in Georgia, beautiful state!
I'm in Kentucky, and I can find all the actives, and choice edibles 45 minutes north of me,and 30 minutes south of me, just not here, and I don't understand it.
Even after heavy rains, I'll go out,and there wont be any kind of fungus growing whatsoever.
I have been stuck in this damn town for a few years now, and I've searched every thicket of forest imaginable too.
I'm lucky that I even found the morels that I found the other day.
This is not a town for mushroom lovers, I'll tell you that!
