Been really fixated on it lately, and I m normally a psytrancer 24/7.
Theres something so purely funky and trippy about it, slinky n skanky.

Most popular mid 70's, but here is something recent I really enjoy:

Altın Gün - Goca Dünya

I have an international Hitech Psytrance project with a friend: BioChronic
I make various form of Psytrance as a solo Project Dendriform

I've uploaded a few random Turkish jazz albums over the years. Here is a compilation someone requested:

Bosporus Bridges - A Wide Selection Of Turkish Jazz And Funk 1968-1978

And here is part 2 of that compilation:

Bosporus Bridges 2 - A Wide Selection Of Turkish Jazz And Funk (2011)

Here is a crazy Turkish jazz trio:

Okay Temiz Trio ‎– Turkish Folk Jazz (1975)

Definitely at least a few others but it's really hard to keep track of everything.

Would also recommend checking out Yugoslavia funk/jazz, they were a bit late to the funk scene and were putting out very classic quality stuff at the end of the 70's when disco was taking over elsewhere. Here is a favorite of mine:

Boomerang - Život, Svetlucava, Prolazna Stvar

The full album was taken down sadly but the whole thing is a funky gem with the perfect balance of fusion and prog rock.

--------------------
Don't worry about me, I've got all that I need. And I'm singing my song to the sky

You know how it feels, With the breeze of the sun in your eyes. Not minding that time's passing by

I've got all and more, My smile, just as before. Is all that I carry with me

I talk to myself, I need nobody else. I'm lost and I'm mine, yes I'm free

Also Mustafa Ozkent!!!

First turkish funk record I got my hands on. Western funk with eastern musical scales sounds exotic.

That jazz compilation (bosporus bridges) is really good too, slept on it till now.

When i was DJing a lot this stuff was always in my sets, there was a bit of a sxene for it in London with all the Turkish expats there.

Lots of good re-works edits for the dancefloor on the labels Hamam House and Disco Halal well worth chrcking out;

The tune that got me into that vibe;

Can't wait to go Turkey and dig for records one day!
