well, just take some bottled water put it in a half pint jar about 2/3 way along with about 1 tablespoon of Karo Syrup. I use that glad press n' seal stuff it works really well as the lid (as you should hopefully know metal lids cannot go in a microwave). Just poke a small hole in it to release steam but not let water boil out Nuke it on high in a microwave for about 3 minutes and let it cool inside the microwave completely. After its completely cool innoculate it using the small hole with about 1cc of spore solution without taking the glad press n seal off and just put the metal jar lid ontop of the press n seal. In about a week to 2 you should see strands of myc floating around

nice...i was under the impression that one needed mycellium to innoculate a karo solution...this works well knowing that i just may have 1cc of spore solution to spare...thanks!
so i can i store the karo jar under my bed or something? i can't put it in the fridge.

dont put it in the fridge... you want the jar at 86 degrees F for optimum growth... but if you mean store it after its done growing room temp is fine
