Mushroom Cultivation in the Philipp
    #26570955 - 04/01/20 11:09 AM (3 years, 9 months ago)

Hey guys I'm actually new to mushroom cultivation but quite experienced in tripping. I want to get started on growing my own without using syringe spores and agar if possible? Also, I have umlimited access to cow manure, straw, compost soil. The reason why I want to grow my own is that it hasn't been raining lately and prolly never will til summer season stops. Can anyone help me?

Do you have spores, you will need spores or better yet mycelium to grow.

Without syringe spores?

You can use spore prints.. but no agar either?

You need at least a syringe or a scalpel and agar.

I don't see how you can have much success without using either.

Yeah as far as indoor cultivation goes you cant get anywhere without spores.

You could always mix the poo straw and soil and wait for pans to pop up, if you do it in a shady spot and keep it watered its only a matter of time.

By spores you mean spore prints? If so, I don't. Correct me if I'm wrong, spore prints can only be acquired from freshly picked mushrooms right? I haven't had any luck with my hunts cuz of the dry season. I still have some dried mushrooms tho. Also I actually took some pats myself and put them in a container (just for experiment), moisturized, then added lawn grass trimmings and red worms that are said to be beneficial. Here's a picture.

If you want to grow indoors you will need spore prints or spore syringes. If you had agar you could potentially grow mycelium from a dried mushroom however it would be very difficult for a beginner to achieve

if you don’t want to use agar the best way to go is using brown rice flour (BRF) cakes and a spore syringe. It’s as simple as getting your jars, making the cakes, putting holes in the lids, sterilizing the cakes, inject with your spore syringes and then put them in a fruiting chamber when they’re colonized.

Do you play rotacion?

About the tek you mentioned earlier by just mixing them. Myceliums grow naturally just from mixing the ingredients then? Sorry for asking too much questions.

If you want to take a lot of the guess work out of it, just use syringe/agar. Otherwise you’ll just be waiting and debating why they aren’t fruiting properly for a multitude of variables.

There’s no really quick way to grow mushrooms. The easiest way without agar is to follow this
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/24179086#24179086

That’s how you do the BRF cake method. You will need to order spores no matter what for that method.

If you can find a mushroom growing you can clone it or get spores from it but then you will need agar to clean up the culture and get it growing on something you’ve prepared.

Duterte's political success has been aided by his vocal support for the extrajudicial killing of drug users and other criminals. Human rights groups have documented over 1,400 killings allegedly by death squads operating in Davao between 1998 and May 2016; the victims were mainly drug users, petty criminals and street children. A 2009 report by the Philippine Commission on Human Rights confirmed the "systematic practice of extrajudicial killings" by the Davao Death Squad.

I wasn't sure what you were talking about so I had to look it up.  You weren't kidding.
