I have three more tubs coming in, I’ll also add they started pinning like PE, blobs. I’ll take some pics and the other tubs will be ready for pics in a day or two.

Those pins look so funny, I had a Malabar that made those little barrel pins.
So what was the whole process you ended up doing?

So I have it some thought and I decided to do something a little different and it will essentially prove the same point. Came up on these bread racks and they fit two regular size seedling trays. I have seen a lot of people use them successfully with taller domes but I think these will be perfect for this project. Here’s some shots of the stuff I’m growing in...

Far as the method I employed and yes I do believe there was a fair amount of luck at play here and I definitely think it was really possible I could have hit a dead end with this, but I simply kept cloning the fruits that fit the criteria of what I was going for (short fat solid stem) cleaning up minimally on agar (2-3) transfers, growing out, selecting the same traits, growing out etc. I think I got lucky on my last clone because even the first tissue transfer looked almost isolated this is a result of three transfers from the last clone, still looked very close if not an isolate which I know is pretty unlikely given the low amount of total transfers, I will also add I started using this tool for my transfers called a biopsy punch, they make them for some dental surgery and I think piercing as well. The one I use is a fairly small size syringe basically with a little wire inside that ejects an extremely small piece of myc (I mean hard to see small) I don’t know if that had something to do with it as well, I’m having really good luck with this tool though..

Have you harvested enough to know whether your weights are similar to your other grows?

Nice! I like the threads where people do selective breeding. It looks like you achieved your goal, what variety did you start with?

Those seed tray shelves are awesome, you can fit a whole lot of mushroom in there with no wasted space.
