Coco coir - finely ground or chopped?
    #26570866 - 04/01/20 10:30 AM (3 years, 9 months ago)

Hi, just a quick question. I have two types of coco coir. One is finely ground and the other is chopped. Which is the one to use? See picture

Use the finely ground coir, it makes it easier for mycellium to colonize.

Check out BOD's Bucket Tek.

Personally, I just pour 4.5 quarts of boiling water into a 5 gallon bucket with the lid on loosely. I spawn when the coir is about ~80'F or slightly warm to the touch.
