Tiger King netflix documentary discussion 1

If you haven't watched it go watch it and then come back to avoid spoilers.
Just finished bingeing it yesterday on Netflix, seriously amazing. Everyone should check it out if they haven't. It's incredibly wild on so many levels, really hope they do a part 2.
It's been so popular that they re opened a cold case into the missing husband of Carole: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/popularity-netflix-s-tiger-king-prompts-sheriff-ask-leads-1997-n1172191
Those of you who have finished it, what did you think?
Joe Exotic just filed a lawsuit against the people who arrested him: https://www.latimes.com/world-nation/story/2020-03-30/joe-exotic-files-94-million-lawsuit-over-his-prosecution
Quote:
A former Oklahoma zookeeper sentenced to 22 years in prison for his role in a murder-for-hire plot has filed a federal lawsuit seeking nearly $94 million in damages, claiming among other things that he was convicted based on false and perjured testimony.
Joseph Maldonado-Passage, also known as “Joe Exotic,” filed the lawsuit March 17 in federal court in Oklahoma City. Among the defendants are the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the U.S. Department of the Interior, the assistant U.S. attorney who prosecuted him and several witnesses in the case.

I too binged Tiger King yesterday, while I was on acid lol. It was pretty entertaining since I had never heard of the guy prior to the netflix release. I would not trust any of those people in the show. I think Carole Baskin could easily have been involved in the disappearance of Don Lewis. Shit seemed surreal.

She was 100% involved, maybe didn't literally feed him to tigers like people think but she definitely knows.
The way she laughs while talking about shit like how "I couldn't even fit a hand into our meat grinder let alone a skinny old man" is really off putting. She also went out of her way to try and paint it as an old age related issue where he got forgetful and lost or some shit. But all his other close family/friends say he didn't show signs of Alzheimer's. Not only that but she happened to meet her police Sergent brother at 3am the night before she reported her husband missing...
She also tried way to hard to say she had no real relationship with her brother, so why would he help her. Well maybe for the millions of dollars she inherited from her missing husband after fucking his first wife/kids out of all but a fraction of the inheritance.
Not to mention her husband had filed for a restraining order that didn't get approved, and said she threatened his life and hid his gun. So many damn red flags, but the sherrifs department ran by her brother didn't find any leads
Have seen a lot of speculation that her husband was a drug dealer. The documentary goes out of the way to say he had easily 5-10+ million but never say how he made any of it, other than "he had a green thumb with money". He owned a bunch of small planes and loved Cuba, etc.

Apparently the crocs that were burned to death were owned by Michael Jackson as well: https://people.com/tv/tiger-king-joe-exotic-claims-alligators-died-zoo-fire-once-belonged-to-michael-jackson/
Quote:
Following the fire, Maldonado-Passage told the Los Angeles Times that Jackson’s seven alligators and a crocodile had died in the blaze. According to the outlet, the exotic pets were taken from Jackson’s Neverland Ranch following its closure.
Joe must have met a lot of crazy people while selling exotic animals.

Pretty much what me and my gf theorized. The whole thing is sketchy as fuck and that bitch is no way fucking innocent i'd bet money on it.

She came across as super sociopathic or something to me, wouldn't doubt for a second she could kill in cold blood if it helped "the cause" AKA making money off people who love nature/big cats.

Didn't he come in 3rd? He ran for president first apparently in 2016, and was planning on running again in 2020 after the whole governor thing didn't work out.

Yeah it's creepy how she is pretty skilled at sounding normal, but occasionally she will slip up and say stuff that she believes sounds normal but totally doesn't. Six year difference in ages so of course they had no relationship whatsoever and might as well have been complete strangers, goes without saying. It's just weird that she thought that was a good cover story. Not that I don't believe it's true from her perspective that their family connection counts for nothing. But it's like she's unable to relate to the idea that her brother would want to defend her because she's family, even if they weren't that close.
Also weird when she was talking about how she takes no notice whatsoever of the volunteers until they have been around for 4 or 5 years.

Oklafuckinggoddamnhoma! Only good thing I got from my 4.5 year detention there was a nursing degree. SE OK in particular is a fucking nightmare, beautiful country, but some or most of the people there are fucking freaks! Seems like USA rural areas in particular are freaky. Especially the southern ones.
Also, why do speed freaks always look like speed freaks?

Honestly, the whole lot of those exotic animal owners abusers deserve nothing less than to be slowly eaten alive by their respective captives.

Also weird when she was talking about how she takes no notice whatsoever of the volunteers until they have been around for 4 or 5 years.
She did leave home at 15 apparently, but even that doesn't mean she'd have "no relationship with my brother". Especially years later after marrying a millionaire, I'm sure that made her family more forgiving or willing to pretend to be at least.
Also in the years of running big cat rescues she never had to call the local police department? She had multiple threats on her life and surely vandals, etc, but never was in contact with her brother about it?
Seems pretty unlikely her brother would ignore all the shit going down at the cat rescue being the local sheriff.
Then there was the missing van found at the airport, seems like the perfect thing to do if you want everyone to believe the guy vanished on his own. And seems like the stupidest thing to do if the husband actually wanted to escape. It just screams coverup, and sounds like something the sheriff brother might think of. "He owns planes so lets just drive his van to the airport, people will think he took off". And even if that was Caroles idea a Sheriff brother would make it easier to pull off.

I agree about the main people, but I felt bad for some of the random employees working under Joe. Like the one who had a hand torn off by a tiger and went back to work in 5 days, or the guy with long hair who was an addict before working there and clearly loved the tigers. The interview with him at the end surrounded by liquor bottles was heartbraking, dude just wanted to take care of his tigers.
Joe kind of fucked over all his misfit employees with how he mismanaged the park, wasting money running for president and governor and with the Carole feud. Seemed like they had a decent set up at least and could have made it much better if they worked at it.
Seems like stardom really got to Joe and Carole, they both turned into social media whores exploiting big cats in almost the same yet different ways.

I finished episode 2 last night and honestly so far I'm disappointed.
So far I don't find it to be the same caliber as a Making a Murderer, Evil Genius, Wild Wild Country, The Jinx etc.
I'll prolly keep watching though. Fuck it... global pandemic baby

It gets crazier and crazier, watching it was a blur but I think it starts throwing the twists in episodes 3-4 and beyond.
From what I remember the first 2 episodes are mainly backgrounds on Joe and Carole.

Oh shit apparently he put out videos interviewing a bunch of the people:

Weird series for sure. The leg amputee seemed to be one of the only semi-normal characters in there.
Carole Baskin is as guilty as hell. I mean that part about the “disappearance clause” in Don Lewis’ will, just seemed way too coincidental to me. At the end of the day, I don’t think either Joe or Carole cared about the animals welfare any more than the other.

They need to make a part 2 as well, sounds like they had to leave out a ton of stuff they didn't have time to cover. And it seems like some of it is still ongoing like Joe's lawsuit and whatever that other shady bastard who took over his park is up to....

Very exotic!
I once tried to make cider, bought all the supplies for it too, made fresh juice from an friend's apple farm. But ended up just drinking the delicious fresh apple juice instead and forgot about the cider

That's the easier way for sure. I think you're supposed to get the "unpasteurized", unfiltered kind.

Great idea, definitely need to try making some finally. Also some sort of berry/plum wine or something. Even have a few small hops plants that grow back every year in the yard
Been wanting to start making ginger beer again, basically open fermented ginger/sugar water. If done right it's delicious though I never made mine very alcoholic. Also have some water kiefer grain to start, but I like the idea behind open fermentation with local yeast a lot.

OK, so, I showed the mate the show. He freaked the fuck out on it! There was a group of people who are doing a video happy hour thing where they dress up as Joe exotic and hold fake little stuffed tigers. Well, he did not like the fact that they were using company property to do this as he was highly offended and there is some code of conduct thing. They were reported! He refuses to watch any more of the series. I have to finish it by myself. I can see how someone else might be offended but not say anything. I do not like the fact it is legal to keep these kinds of animals as pets. It's just wrong and all those fucking people in that show are incredibly selfish freaky fucks.

LOL! I don't know how you could look at yourself in the mirror looking like that and say, "damn, I look so fucking hot/good today"! BUT, I shouldn't judge like that. If you go to SE Oklahoma, there is still that look going on. It's regional. It was funny that the one lady in the 1st episode was trying to say how the cats should be free etc...and then it shows her having the same kind of thing going on and charging fees to see them etc...

Jeff Lowe? I knew a jeff lowe in FT WT Tx when I was 14yo. He and I stole a car together. Then he took it and picked up some other friends and robbed a house. They got caught and tried to blame me for it. The cop that interviewed me said he believed me when I told him jeff came to my house in it. He/they shouldn't have tried to blame me for robbing that house. I got away clean, but never did that again.

In interviews that guy says it was the director who wanted him shirtless, "for sex appeal". But probably just to show off his tattoos.
Also apparently that guy actually had a legit condition in his mouth that caused the missing teeth, it wasn't meth like the documentary makes it seem. He actually got his mouth fixed up and now has a pretty solid set of teeth.
Was surprising to see his teeth in the interview after the documentary. He has a fiance and seems to be doing pretty good which is nice to see.

Finished episode 2 last night. How about that one dude who molds young girls to be his employees and future wives. Yikes. The most normal guy was the Cuban drug smuggler, lol.
Looking forward to episode 3, the infamous Carol Baskins and her mysteriously missing husband episode. May watch this evening.

Yeah that dude was a creep. I wonder how his kids are doing
Was pretty shocked that dude apparently did over 500 movies for Hollywood, supplying animals and training them for movies. Grew up watching a lot of movies he supplied the animals for.
There are some surprises at the end around Doc Antle but they don't get explored at all as the shit was happening while they were finishing up the documentary.

Thought it was funny and even more disturbing how Joe and that other redneck guy with tigers looked up to Doc Antle and his harem. The way they talked about him "training his women" was pretty fucked up.
Also weird how Doc Antle says he lives alone in the documentary and isn't married, yet has multiple houses for different women to live in on his property. Doesn't seem like the best use of money when you have tons of animals to take care of.

Jeff was still pretty creepy but seemed more like a typical middle aged swinger that happened to have access to tiger cubs to lure in women.
Though Jeff also apparently choked his first wife, so clearly he was still a creepy asshole. The documentary just doesn't focus on him quite as much since he shows up partway through and was still up to shit when it ended.

ugh his attitude towards his wife is disgusting - I got the vibe that he pretty much views her as an object, especially his comments about her getting back in the gym as soon as she gave birth. I hope she's okay in general. Fucking terrible person, and a huge con man.

Jeff or Antle?
It's weird how similiar all the big cat people in the documentary are, seems like big cats attract a certain type of person. Or even the power of having big cats turns you into that...
All 3 of the main people had cult like followings and crazy levels of narcissism. They all seemed to care for animals especially initially but ended up distracted by the byproducts of the fame and power the animals gave them.

I mean this is entertaining in a very morbid twisted kind of way -- not that far off from people slowing down to look at a car accident (not that that's entertaining but you know what I mean) but I gotta say after an episode it makes me want to take a shower lol

Jeff, for sure.
Antle was weird in his own right, and his little cult he was running was all kinds of fucked up, he was certainly creepy as well - but I didn't actually get a chance to see how he interacted with his wife and the women in his little tiger harem. The way Jeff talked at(not to, at) his wife just spoke volumes to me, for some reason.
And yeah, I absolutely agree it attracts a weird breed of people. Same with horses - like a solid 1/3 - maybe more - of the people I knew while I was actively involved in the showjumping world were certifiably insane.

All 3 of the main people had cult like followings and crazy levels of narcissism. They all seemed to care for animals especially initially but ended up distracted by the byproducts of the fame and power the animals gave them.

None of them ever gave a shit about the animals if they did they wouldn't of bred them to keep them in a cage the rest of their life's. It was all about their own ego and amusement. But I agree that they initially cared somewhat about the animals before they saw the money and power it gave them and became increasingly careless and corrupt.

I mean sure Carole is the most obvious suspect in her ex-husband's "disappearance"...but he did seem like he was maybe making an escape of sorts.
The last thing he told that one dude was, "if I pull this off it'll be the slickest thing I've ever done in my life". He clearly had a major love for Costa Rica. And he definitely wanted to get as far away from Carole as he could. Maybe his slick plan was to start a new life in Costa Rica.
I know, I'm reaching. He did leave all his money and assets behind, right? So I don't know how he'd pull off a new life without that, but...idk.

He was probably talking about leaving the broad, and that’s what made her decide to disappear him..
Kinda like how Cobain was going to leave his broad and then she decided to disappear him..

I went to Costa Rica for one month, Feb 2004. It would be REALLY easy to get lost there. Packs of smokes were 50 cents, beers also, Budweiser even! In the places I visited everyone/a lot of people (locals too) spoke English or broken English and the town was 60 percent expats from USA that owned businesses. San Jose I think. Went to Montezuma, and the place where that famous surf shop is. Scored some coke just asking a random stranger on the street as well as some weed. Not sure how it is there now though. I do have a friend there that I could visit...That dude could have had a safe full of unreported money and used that to disappear with. Overseas account(s) that no one knew about as well.

Yes, but why though
He could just get a divorce and leave with half his stuff on top of his secret Costa Rica stash

The guy apparently was a player according to the documentary. His love of different women (the more the better) probably superceded all his other interests.
He also reportedly went to Costa Rica like once a month. He probably had a team of chicas down there.

I think him and her were involved in some shady business and had alot of money people didn't know about and was fearing being found out or some type of prosecution and he left the assets to her to cover for him. Either way I think she definitely knows what happened to him. She set it up to make it look like he died in a plane crash or he disappeared from "Alzheimer's" by saying he crashed alot of planes and wasn't right after one. The problem with those theories are she would of noticed a plane missing if he crashed one of his planes and everyone that knew him said he absolutely didn't have Alzheimers.
I remember watching this fbi statement analysis guy a while back that said people generally tell the truth when they're lying. So her saying that he flew the plane under the radar leads me to believe that that has something to do with his disappearance whether she through him out or that was the plan to get him out of the country safely.

Without having never found a body, is it feasible that some of his vast wealth was spent setting up an alias and a new life down there??
I also wonder if and when the prosecutors will ever look at bringing charges against Jeff Lowe and the life size Chucky doll...because my guess is there’s still a wide range of holes in their stories to explore yet.

I don't think it's 100% out of the realm of possibility...but I do think admittedly it's probably unlikely.
BUT...he did have a deep love for Costa Rica, and as an avid flyer (who owned private planes himself), undoubtedly had access to people who could fly him off (and probably undetected). Then there's that quote of his too -- the one where (right before he left) he said that if he could pull it off it would be the slickest thing he would ever do in his life.
He had something up his sleeve for sure. Now whether or not he succeeded in that or not...

One thing I've pondered is if the "slickest thing" line could be about a massive drug deal or something else. Divorce does seem pretty likely, but he could have also specifically meant it about moving the zoo to costa rica.
Also assuming he did want to flee, I'd think he would use costa rica as a cover. It sounds like that was one of the places the cops actually bothered investigating for a few days. So why not fly north to Canada or something. Would be hard to track him once he got across the border and he could easily fly to Europe and vanish for good. But I think the big hole in that plan is him giving up all his wealth, so either he had a sizable stash he managed to flee with or he really died.

Yeah Jeff and the fat waterski guy really need to be looked into more thoroughly. Really seems like they threw Joe under the bus to take the fall and distract from their own shady shit.

Just started watching this. What an interesting show! This war with the animal rights activists over the right to have tigers as pets basically raised the question in my mind that why can't one have a wild cat as a pet compared to a domesticated cat? The tigers seem happy and loving their owner which is proof of that. These cats get to be outside, but some people have pet cats inside all the time in a small apartment. As a cat lover myself I really feel that this Joe guy is doing the right thing. Well I am only in the first episode so maybe that will change.

yeah.. watch the whole thing... it gets insane.. I have no problem with cats in a big habitat.. a 20x20 cage isn't good.. BUT at least the cats are alive and not being hunted..

Alright I'm on episode 4 now. The boiling hatred this guy had for Baskins -- he was completely obsessed by her. The seething hatred he had for her, I wouldn't have been surprised if he would have walked straight into her cat sanctuary and unloaded a clip right there.
He reached a point where Carole Baskins consumed his mind probably literally every waking second of the day. I mean the guy made music videos about her. Dressed up in a bloody rabbit costume and protested outside her place. Flew a helicopter over her place. Dedicated like 60 internet live streams to her. Had a fundraiser dedicated to her to raise money for his legal expenses. Put a dildo into the mouth of a blowup doll that was supposed to be her and then shot the head of said blowup doll with his gun. And that's probably just scratching the surface.
shit is crazy

Apparently some of his gators were previously owned by Michael Jackson, been wondering if they were the ones that died in the fire. Really fucked up either way.

I just got introduced to Lowe yesterday at the end of episode 4.
He seems like a really decent guy with a lot of humility and class. And depth.

On a side note I am just completely blown away how they casually walk into (and hang out) in an enclosure with several 400 to 500 pound big cats. That is freaking wild. And riding in trucks and convertibles with a grown tiger riding shotgun.
What. The. Fuck.
I mean we are talking one of the premier alpha predators on this entire planet. Shit is crazy.

By the way speaking of tigers, if anyone is interested below is a link to a pretty amazing story of how a Korean photographer spent 6 months in a concrete bunker in Siberia in temps down as low as 20 below zero trying to get video of a wild Siberian tiger (biggest cat species on earth). I think it was for the Planet Earth series.
Siberian tigers are so rare you probably have better odds of seeing a ghost than seeing one of these tigers in the wild.

Somewhere on the page you linked it mentions Siberian Tigers in North Korea , I wonder if Kim has one.
Also, thumbs up or thumbs down to watching Tiger King?

I'd say binge it. I think it's like 7 episodes altogether.
It's definitely far from the greatest thing you'll ever see, but in a very guilty pleasure morbid kinda way it's pretty entertaining.

I have no fucking idea, lol. It is definitely weird how this shit has exploded.
I mean there's no way the people who produced this thought this was going to blow like it has. But damn whoever they are they are just swimming in funds now.

Maybe it gained popularity at first for being something unique on netflix as an interesting fast paced documentary and then the popularity started to bring in views just because it was popular. Personally, I wouldn't have started watching it yet if I didn't see this thread lol.
That 4th episode was infuriating. Shows how little morale these people truly have and how egocentric they are.

Same. I saw the trailer and had zero interest. But this thread was the bait and I took it hook, line and sinker

It's popular because shows like honey boo boo, swamp people, little people big world, and so on ad nauseum emphasis on the nausea. People love to see red neck hillbilly freaks (or any "freaks"/not the "normal" etc...) because in a way it might make them feel better about themselves. Someone mentioned the car wreck gawking, it's a primal instinct to look for a lot of people. I'm not a psychologist though, but It's an interesting subject to me.

Been seeing a lot of people defending Carole around online lately, wanted to share some thing my friend looked up yesterday:
Big Cat Rescue reported income 2018: "According to their 2018 tax return, Big Cat Rescue raked in a staggering $4,429,347, an increase of $314,266 from the previous year."
Also as the documentary points out Carole also started out breeding and selling tigers just like Joe and Antle. She really comes across as a phony narcissist to me.

By the way I wasn't sure if I liked it through the first season. In fact I really don't think I did. But I did start the 2nd season with pretty low expectations. And then it got much more entertaining to me.
Narcos on Netflix is still better to me though. I think Narcos and Narcos Mexico is arguably the best show/series there is today.

We watched Ozark too and boy this season finale is a cracker. The Mrs and I both enjoyed all the Narcos series, Ozark and we watched Tiger King In a couple of marathon sessions, so we’ve almost run out of things to watch.
Any recommendations?

Fortitude, Altered Carbon, Deep Space 9, and my most entertaining show of the month, The Expanse...
Then some other good ones were, sens8, travelers, west world, house of cards, and an animated series named Erased.
Now that I think of it, I don’t remember most or how good they are, but I remember them, so they must be memorable. Expanse i did like though, and erased.

We haven’t enjoyed the second season of Altered Carbon as much, watched all of House of Cards really liked the first couple but it died in the ass at the end there, just watching new season of Westworld now, there’s something about Dolores that keeps drawing me back in. Will check the others out. Cheers.

I usually don’t get caught up in fandom speculation, but when my brother sent me that Facebook link I seriously had to look twice. Although it’s highly unlikely it’s not been disproven yet, like many other theories.
I noticed Netflix showing the new episode now so we’ll be watching that tonight when the kids go to bed 🍺

Yeah mate...that’s a funny summary of him. And to be fair, I can’t say I disagree, but I did like some of his roles.

There is a new episode to the series. It is a compilation of interviews. Joe's first husband now has teeth and is handsome.
We learn more clearly that some tigers were killed to get some cage space. The zookeeper says he was the one that had to do it, because the tigers trusted him.
He says the tigers gave him the look : ''you let me down, man'' and that was heartbreaking

Also, the second husband that shot himself did it by accident.
He said ''a Ruger won't fire without a clip''. He then pointed at his head and shot. There was a bullet in the chamber.
The redhead campaign manager said after being shot, its face could show he realized he fucked up for 3-5 minutes before dying.
What a way to go out. It could have easily been a murder.

Yeah I really thought it was a suicide from the documentary, they made the guy seem pretty stressed and crazy.

I assumed so too. They show texts between him and Joe and it's clear that he is going through opioid withdrawal as he says : ''omg tremadol works thank you''.
There's a photo of him with a pound or more of cocaine (looks like 2 or more). He was a meth addict too and stuck on the propriety. I mean it seemed likely to have been suicide.
It shook me to hear he was alive and somewhat conscious for a few minutes before blowing his brains out. I wonder how it must feel during that time.

I thought this sounded funny, I watched it and he didn’t say 3-5 minutes....at least not in the interview I saw. He wasn’t laying there for 3-5 minutes with a hole in his head.
One thing that stuck with me, back when I was for whatever reason traumatizing myself for fun watching shit like Faces of Death, the Bud Dwyer suicide, you can see in his eyes how long he stays conscious after shooting himself and the level of ‘oh darn’ you can see always stuck with me. What a nightmare..

'I mean, maybe 5 seconds of his eyes I could read it and then he was gone.
Phiew, it's 5 seconds after all. I don't know why I registered 5 minutes. I can sleep in peace now.
I didn't think twice of it as we have all heard stories of people shot in the face surviving.

Damn. Isn't that Bud Dwyer video even on YouTube?
But yeah while the suicide itself wasn't very bloody and gory at all as one might think, it was still an image that unfortunately got burned into my brain.

Yeahhhh, he used to have a problem. In episode 7, I counted at least 3 spent bottles of Vodka in his bedroom during the interview.
Other than that, I’m sure he’s a reliable witness.

Was that a reenactment? His face looks like the fakest expression, and for a long time. This why tinfoilers think all those people at mass shootings are crisis actors, when it actually happens to you you probably you probably have the stupidest expression on your face. That was real right?

They say it was caught on film live, that the guy who shot himself was directly underneath the camera out of view while pointing at Josh.
His expression clearly shows his total shock and surprise, gay or not gay.
I did a similar reaction yet different expression back in college at a party when a guy on his motorcycle hit a curb doing 60mph and flew over the handlebars and cracked his head open on the street right next to me and a couple others and bled out a few minutes later in my arms.

It was provided under the context of being real. It’s from the security camera. It doesn’t strike me as being fake but that situation could result in so many reactions that it’s hard for me to call it fake unless it was really obvious. I think he was just suspended in that ‘oh fuck’ that we would all think..

He does look like him though, it's an old speed buddy, another friend, and mom. Friend 2 said he looks absolutely like the tiger king now and lost all his teeth etc...
Well, ft wt tx (my home town) is about 2-3 hours from OKC. I also spent 4.5 years in SE OK 10 years ago. The thing with the gay guys there is that even though they will be out on a weekend night, they still have this extreme guilt about being there and having same sex attraction. The conversations almost always turned to religion and gay guilt. It's not that they are an endangered species, it's that the extreme religious faction detests it and pushes it out as much as possible.
There was one guy who was a 6,000 year old earth religious gay. It's a really weird fucking mindset, place, and part of the USA. There was a guy who said as long as he doesn't kiss a man on the mouth it's not gay, seriously. He thought that! So, he could fuck and suck and be fucked and as long as he didn't kiss him, not gay. Texas isn't far off from all that shit either.
The 1st time I kissed a man in public I'll never forget it. I finally got the nerve, it was after 2am, streets are deserted, it was in ft wt, and as soon as I leaned in and got the planted kiss on a car drives by and I hear someone yell, "FAAAGS!" FUCK!!!

Even in Montreal, which is supposed to be a gay friendly destination, it is still a tiny bit awkward to kiss a man in public.
It's even worse for hand holding. At least, it makes me feel super awkward.
How about now, for you, rex?

I still feel that nervousness in very public non gay friendly places/atmospheres. I grew up in the south, so it's the way it is. I'm getting over it mostly. I will do a short non sexual kiss and hug and walk with my mate and fuck anyone who says something now. Not afraid anymore, more bothered that I'm still nervous in some places. I got married and that was a MAJOR thing for me be it a man or woman, lol. I swore I'd NEVER get married. Life is strange and beautiful.
