No.
We're swimming in EM already, this just adds a bit to it.
We need full 5G penetration to expand the important part of our civilisation: the rapid free flow of information. Only THAT can save the world.

Yeah that seemed incredibly far fetched. I could see countries like China covering it up, but on a global scale with no one speaking out on the front lines?
They claimed 5g causes "cell sickness" leading to dying cells and viral like symptoms. But even that doesn't explain a global pandemic like this.

Having towers every couple hundred meters seems like more than a bit. Also why would we need 5g for a free flow of information? Pretty much the entire world is already connected, and the parts that aren't just lack internet infrastructure not ultra fast 5g.
Anyways I hope you're right. But at least here in the US we have the issue of privatized infrastructure, even if 5g works out it will probably be expensive/limited and available mainly to big companies that can afford it at least initially.

If you think about it, when humans switched from 3g to 4g the only thing different was that now everybody started watching 4k tatas and bumbums or whatever netflix show they watch without the need to wait a bit for the video to load. I don't see how this helped make the world a better place in any way. Sure, it improved quality of life a little bit but it didn't save the world. at all. and i don't see how going even further would

It's available in my city right now. Verizon charges $10 more per month for 5G than LTE, and a hotspot from Starry is $50/m.

I have not, still rocking a 4G/LTE only phone. I don't use mobile broadband much anyway, so I probably wouldn't notice any difference.

What sort of signal are they going to use when they put that stuff in our brains? Probably 5g? Just read an article saying it'll likely to from 5g, to 5.5g, then 'connected'. The measurements becoming meaningless because information is transferred as fast as it can go
I'm not seeing the article. I think it also said we upgrade the network physicaly every 15 years or so.

Interesting.
I wonder if 5Ghz and brain waves are somehow similar in form and structure

I don't know, I'm just trying to sound philosophical.

Definitely worth looking into all possibilities given the mess we're in, but this doesn't seem likely. There are a number of nations badly affected by the virus which don't have 5G as of yet (Iran, India etc).
Seems like a very dangerous and wreckless theory to me, particularly at a time when we're all depending on connectivity more than ever.
I'm not certain whether this has been propagated by a hostile state without 5G, but they are out there. As horrible as that sounds, given the current crisis, but I think that is a more plausible conspiracy theory than the theory itself!

Wouldn't surprise me if the Chinese government started or is pushing conspiracies like this to try and deflect blame from their initial coverup and all the outspoken Chinese doctors that vanished.
In fact the first time I saw this conspiracy it was posted on youtube by a suspicious asian account. Seems like China has the most to gain from conspiracies like this

DOWN WITH THE 5g.
This is just the next technological advancement to make things like in the show Altered Carbon a reality. "Needle pointing consciousness across the universe" typedeal.
5g will come and a bunch of people will get cancer and the honey bee's will die even faster,
but then in a few years, 6g and then 7g, and then soon we will be living in virtual reality.

We don't really need super fast Internet speeds to watch 4k streams. TCL came up with new video codec technology that enables us to watch 4k streams with dial up internet speeds (1.3 mbps) (watch from minute 7)

There’s nothing dangerous about 5G. It’s just humans being scared about a lack of control due to the virus and they are looking for something to blame to make themselves feel better.
