Ive been fasting over a month

Im on hour 832 as of writing this, my plan was to fast from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday, 46 days of lent, im on day 35 right now, the last thing I ate was on Tuesday February 25th at 8pm
I drink 1 black coffee in the morning some days though, and I mix in 1.5 teaspoons pink salt (2200mg sodium) and 1 teaspoon potassium chloride (2600mg potassium) into a 710ml water bottle and sip that throughout the day, plus drink lots of fresh water, plus im still eating 10 grams of kratom a day cause im an addict
I started at 195 lbs and im down to 169.6 lbs, so I lost 26 pounds in 35 days so far, beats weight watchers
I need to break my fast with bone broth, im hoping my stepdad does a turkey for Easter this year, so I can make broth with the bones, otherwise I have to go to the store to buy a rotisserie chicken to make the broth, Im debating if I should also make some sourkraut too, if I decide yes I got to start it like yesterday, but I dont really feel like going to the store to buy cabbage today,
but day 1 eating bone broth, day 2 sourkraut sounds like a good plan before I try eating normal meals, but maybe I could go straight to normal meals though, my thinking is because I have been eating kratom every day, my digestion has never really stopped

What you are doing is very unhealthy and, because you are on kratom, a powerful painkiller, you don't quite feel it like it is.

I'm all for fasting, but I have to agree with Asante.
When I was on dope, I'd go days without eating and not even notice. Opiates/opiods can have strange effects on hunger, almost like you don't crave the pleasure from eating as much because your pleasure receptors are already saturated. The kratom can also boost mood, energy, and sleep... making other signs of hunger much less noticeable.
Plus kratom has fiber and some calories, so having 10g a day really doesn't seem like fasting. Your liver needs to process the kratom as well the occasional coffee, so you'd be missing out on a lot of the metabolic/detoxifying benefits that are attributed to fasting, as well as the inflammation lowering HNF4-(alpha) inhibition.
I'd ease into eating fruits and veggies ASAP. I've read from multiple sources that even though obesity seems to one of the leading factors for COVID death risk, right now is the absolute worst time to cut calories and make drastic dietary changes. It might be wise to have your body operating at full strength.

I can see people seeking discomfort, such as Ayahuasca or or fasting for 3 or 5 days.
But a whole month thats serious famine.
and this with an appetite suppressant painkiller.
Point proven, go reaccustom yourself to food before COVID wisps you away like a leaf in the wind.
You are weakening your defenses in a time of pandemic.
You'll die like a typhoid victim in Auschwitz if COVID gets a hold of you now.
Prolonged malnutrition + infectious disease is a killer combination.

Intermittent fasting is probably pretty safe right now, possibly even beneficial to keep inflammation down and sugar low (higher blood glucose may be linked to higher risk of pneumonia death) so long as you're getting enough calories and nutrients.
"Fasting is evolutionarily embedded within our physiology, triggering several essential cellular functions. Flipping the switch from a fed to fasting state does more than help us burn calories and lose weight. The researchers combed through dozens of animal and human studies to explain how simple fasting improves metabolism, lowering blood sugar; lessens inflammation, which improves a range of health issues from arthritic pain to asthma; and even helps clear out toxins and damaged cells, which lowers risk for cancer and enhances brain function." https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMra1905136
Usually longer term fasting is pretty benign, and even healthy depending on which studies you believe. IMO though, right now your body should be firing on all cylinders, COVID can take you down hard and you'll want any extra energy reserves you can have.

It's not fasting if you're digesting those things.

Gotcha
In that case, nice job with the fast
Was it for lent or something? Or the date you just started fasting coincided around lent? Either way, nice.
