This is the first time I've gone mushroom picking 28/03/2020
I think this is: Psilocybe Cyanescens (link to photos at the bottom)
Habitat: I found this in the woods in Melbourne, east region. Gills: Black/purpl,gills/pores Stem: thin. Cap: Brown'ish. Spore print color: Dark purple. Bruising: pinch the end of stem, no bruising occurred.
Other information: attached a link with photos of when i found them and spore print photos, hope this helps! thank you everyone
Apologies if i'm missing any other information, this is my first time.

Sorry, not the fungi you are looking for.
Psilocybe cyanescens does not grow naturally in Australia.
The species you are looking for is Psilocybe subaeruginosa.
look for brown/yellow/golden coloured cap, with thick white fibrous stem. the cap is often sticky.
white gills in younger specimens turning brown/grey with age.
the gills, and the stem will bruise blue, when damaged/squeezed.

Almost looks like a wine cap.
I would say that it's at least a Stropharia species.
