Hello guys and gals. This is just an introduction post concerning what I believe to be, a large leap in performance, technology, and execution of technique regarding my personal cultivation effort of psilocybian mushrooms. In the past I have learned merely how to order a syringe of cubes, incubate spawn, was successful and move from dub tub to mono.
I’ve never cased a substrate. I’ve never made liquid culture. I’ve never done many things. Infact until just last week, I had never indulged in the very important, and truly staple aspect of mycology, in agar work. I didn’t so much streak two plates as I did scrape and dump. So, to make a very long story short, I am indeed smitten with this trade/ skill/ hobby/ way of life/ and so wish to put more time and effort into my dividends. I invite any and all family/members of this awesome forum to come watch my transition from perfectly noob and comfortable in stasis to perfectly noob and out of my element. Lol
I have in the last two weeks received everything needed to create a closet setup of jakeoncid419’s JOC PAN TEK
The goal as of now is to fruit out a few varieties of pan cyan, of which I have one “Estero” on two plates, germinated three or four days ago and doing first transfers tonight. Plus, im hoping for the possibilityof tampanensis. I have also on brf agar but it’s dirty, if I can clean up the few plates I have of it right now I should be able to fruit it right next to the cyans no?
Well, this is just a first post to what I hope will be an epic thread, in which I can detail not only this but further projects in mycology but also show off and discuss some of my own art pieces and others’ if that’s not to much to ask,. philosophical conundrums, make friends, make a few scientific insights/ as many mistakes I possibly can in the name of science and accrue as much constructive criticisms as possible.
We all have our own very special relation to the little saints,. We take a lot and we give a little. We are forever in a viscous cycle of taking every inch we can get in life and giving back as very little as we possibly can as humans here in earth.
Yet, as with all other things, there is a silver lining. There are a few people who garner a closer relationship with the earth, the people in their lives, a higher power. Through the respect and discipline garnered over cultivation of any kind. Not to mention a more harmonious communication with their own self, non-self, ego, and physical body and the wants and needs and tricks of the material plane.
Through our personal experiential observation and sustaining of life in the lesser fortunate, finer, most subtle conscious’ beings other than ourselves completely/ little brothers and sisters, whether it’s our cats our dogs our mushrooms our trees and lawns. It’s a beautiful art.
And, correct me if I am wrong but any mental or physical ritual that is used as a philosophical tool to enrich your relation to others and god is considered a “Sacred Tantra”
“Put that in your pipe and smoke it.”
This is the kind of mind I cultivate, through my “cultivation’s”
Gotta go loves, talk soon.
Sincerely, Dark
