HIYA - MUSH LOVERS -
I have and old Maple tree - that I think its on its way out.
Been getting these mushies for the past 4 year around this time. after rain/snow and then warm days - eg. 25-30 f nights and 50-60 days....... Fast growing right at the base of the tree (maple) - Im taking a spore print today - but hope maybe you can identify?

C. micaceus is a good suggestion. If I were to try them, I'd go for some younger specimens.

it's for sure a Coprinellus species, I agree micaceus is most probable.
