First try with home made agar
    #26565145 - 03/29/20 11:41 AM (3 years, 9 months ago)

I made some agar myself.. hope that went well.. it solidified all right๐Ÿ‘
I transferred spores on two petri-dishes and with mycelium from the stem of the same mushroom I inoculated three petri-dishes..

What recipe did you use?

The two spores from the prints have taken to the agar. Only one of the mycelium from the stem has..
Will have to wait a few more days and then decide on wether to keep the other two or not๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”

These are five agar plates taken from the best agar plate of the previous pictures.
Nothing but rhizomorohic growth in all directions and ask very strong๐Ÿ„๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜ฌโœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘
I haven't got any tubes to make slants yet.
I will be putting these in the fridge to stop them growing any further (which is hardly possible) and so them from pinning in the dishes๐Ÿ˜ณ
Happy Easter holiday

Looks great man. Why not let one or two pin and transfer that as an isolate?

Btw, don't forget to label your petris.

Thanx.
I could let one or two start to pin. Not a bad idea at all..
Will do thatโœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘

How would I transfer the pins as an isolated?
I stuck two Petris back in the fridge and am going to let three pin.. do I then transfer the whole agar plate to: tub/ bulk substrate/ grain? Our do you mean to take the flesh/mycelium of one of the shrooms to make a clone and then use this for inoculation in stead of using LC or spores to inoculated?

Take the fruit and put it in the middle of a new plate. Then you can take transfers from it to multiply the clone or you can inoculate that plate to whatever you want.
