First try with home made agar

I made some agar myself.. hope that went well.. it solidified all right๐ I transferred spores on two petri-dishes and with mycelium from the stem of the same mushroom I inoculated three petri-dishes.. ๐ฌ๐

hi I used plain tap-water, agar, yeast, a bit of some sort of molasses and a squirt of dark honey.

The two spores from the prints have taken to the agar. Only one of the mycelium from the stem has.. Will have to wait a few more days and then decide on wether to keep the other two or not๐ค๐ค

These are five agar plates taken from the best agar plate of the previous pictures. Nothing but rhizomorohic growth in all directions and ask very strong๐๐๐ฌโ๏ธ๐๐ I haven't got any tubes to make slants yet. I will be putting these in the fridge to stop them growing any further (which is hardly possible) and so them from pinning in the dishes๐ณ Happy Easter holiday

Looks great man. Why not let one or two pin and transfer that as an isolate?
Btw, don't forget to label your petris.
