ID Request: Seems like not an ovoid

I was surprised to find something that resembled an ovoid with a nipple top in this habitat in Virginia. It seemed to be growing out of the dirt; I searched for buried wood but found nothing. The gills seemed too light and no bruising. I'm just curious what it is in case I find more in the future.

Habitat: Growing seemingly from dirt under a big tree that I couldn't identify, pictured. Not in a floodplain.
Gills: Cream/white, pictured
Stem: 2 in. tall, 5 mm thick, not fragile but still easy to break
Cap: Brown nipple
Spore print color: I didn't print it but I would guess white
Bruising: None or very little, not noticeably dark blue/black like ovoids that I have seen before
Other information: Didn't smell like much at all

Yes, it does look like some of the entoloma I'm seeing found in VA on mushroom observer.
I don't have a better shot, sorry.

It seemed to be growing from dirt which is in favor of entoloma, I think.

Umm... do you accept photos of mushrooms that are dug out of the trashcan?

Entoloma has attatched gills. Pluteus has free gills. The gills in your mushroom are free.
