What do you mean by cloudy? Is it kinda brown,or do you mean it has white stuff floating around in it?

no no, its actually cloudy and not brown just cloudy sorry i dont have a camera to clear the confusion
i guess its working if I look hard I can see white dust things floating around its hard to see tho cause its so cloudy but i put about 2-3 times more karo in this jar just to see what would happen and made another with the right amount which is going just fine

Too much Karo actually slows down growth for me.A teaspoon worth is perfect.IVe tried adding more several times and the Myc always stalls early on.I dont know why though, only that it happens.

thats funny my foaf uses 2 tbspoons per 100mls and he never has problems, in fact he finds that his karo solutions colonize more than one with 1 tblspoon

well im talking alot more, like 3 times that much as he said, but maybe its nbecause I use a small 1/4 pint jar for my Karo,so 3 tablespoons for you is like 6 for me.It grows fine dont get me wrong, they germinate well, but then stall right out.Ive done it 3 or 4 times, then stopped because it just wasnt working for me as well as less.I did use the myc from those jars, and it worked just fine, the only problem was the stalling. As I said I cant explain it,its just what happened.
It honestly always suprised me because I had expected exactly the oppisate.
