Habitat: Where does it grow? Growing in dead wood, near a river, Canberra ACT
Gills: in pic
Stem: a little dry in pic
Cap in pic
Spore print color: Coming!
Bruising: Turned blue very quickly in flesh
Other information: Stem was a little dry altho7gh the fruiting body still had moisture

No not really. Mainly active mushrooms, there is a bolete or pored mushroom which does. If your after subaeruginosa check my sig for a guide and my gallery to see what they look like. Familiarise yourself with them a bit and you wont be so much taking a stab in the dark.

No not really. Mainly active mushrooms, there is a bolete or pored mushroom which does. If your after subaeruginosa check my sig for a guide and my gallery to see what they look like. Familiarise yourself with them a bit and you wont be so much taking a stab in the dark.
Oh right cool. I'm wondering why this one blued so quickly! I think it may be a little early for subs here as we are still getting 20+degrees Celsius. I found some laughing gyms and a few mowers but that was about it. How do I check out your guide? Thanks heaps 😊

That's not bluing, you are looking at spore deposits

They might be Coprinopsis atramentaria, so don't consume as they could contain coprine.

coprine is the antabuse of the mushroom world, eating them within a week of consuming alcohol will make you very sick. Hence, the antabuse reference.

Ahhh right so spores fell on the flesh to give it that look. It's in the first pic at the very top with the split. I just took a pic of the bunch when the same thing happened just not of the blueing. Cheers guys!
