Trichoderma and vinegar

Hello
Basically my question is that is it possible to destroy trichoderma spores or mushroom spores in general with vinegar or what is the most potential chemical for getting rid of hyphae and spores on surfaces. Can regular soap be enough? I think that since the molecule mushroom cell walls are mostly made of is chitin and it is a polysaccharid so soap problably wont disrupt the structure of the cell walls. And I have no clue what are the walls of mushroom spores made of.

Avoid trich in the first place. If your trying to fix trich issues, after the fact is a fail way to approach.

I'm just gonna leave this here. Fighting trich is like waging war on the wind.

I think the idea youre thinking of is preventing germination of things with extreme pH.... I don't think this applies to this situation

Honestly, you got contamination because there are contaminants floating around all the time, you don't really have to go through extreme measures to clean the grow area.

I think that the monotub should still be cleaned since there was hefty amount of spores in it.

Yea for sure, regular soap and water is sufficient. I like to mix soap and bleach but the bleach is not really necessary.

If you're just looking to get things cleaned after the green shows up and not in situ, a standard scrub down of the tub like household dishes is fine. I go the extra route like MH5109 and let it sit misted with bleach + water for a day, then use a brush and some Dawn or Simple Green to get any stuck bits out. Vinegar would probably be fine for a post-grow cleaning too, but I'm not a fan of the smell.
