Can I skip the q21q21 tincture step when using limonene?

Hi everyone,
In q21q21's limonene extraction tek, I noticed that he turns it into a tincture, before putting it on a spoon and evaporating it into the "jim jam" using a candle.
I was wondering if i could skip the tincture step, and just heat it on the stove until the vinegar/water are completely gone? Would the resulting product still be smokable "jim jam"?
Thanks

Yes , but be very careful using the stove to evap because all the magic can be overheated and wasted swiftly.

I'd definitely go with candle method and small batches in order to minimize overheating mistakes.

If I evaporate it on a heating pad or something lower temp than the stove, would that work you think? Or would you still recommend just doing the candle method?
Also, If I do go the tincture route, do you know if I can just store it in the freezer like with regular dmt?
Thanks

A heating pad may work well. The issue with stove top or candle will be distributing and controlling the heat. Patience will be the key.
I'm not sure about using the freezer for storage. Storing it in something airtight and in a dark roomtemp area should be ok

Sweet maybe I’ll give that a shot then. My stove has a “warming zone” setting on it, that I think stays at a fairly low temperature.
If I do the tincture, do you know how your supposed to measure it when boiling it off on the stove? He says to boil it off until it is about 70-100 ml, and then simmer it down to 20-30 ml. Do you just eyeball the amount of liquid and guess when it’s done?
