Need Help Cubensis Beginner 1
#26560421 - 03/27/20 03:19 AM (3 years, 9 months ago) |

Hello together,
I am a bit helpless with my first growkit. It is a Mazatapec. I soaked the kit on 24 and cooled it in the refrigerator for 12h on about 6-9 degrees.
Then i put it in the growing bag in my room on a window seat. Under the window seat is a heater (about 10cm under the window seat). In my room is it between 21-25 degrees.
Today its the third day and in the Kit don’t grow any pins or smthg.
This morning I put the kit on a table about 1m in front of the heater.
Anybody know / have a Tipp what I am making wrong? Or why they don’t start to grow? Maybe it’s contaminated? The kit smells like the first day. And I ventilate the kit every day.
Need help pls

Around 70°F is perfect for them.
It takes longer than 3 days for pins. It can take a week or two
so just keep waiting and taking care of it.

Looks like its about to pin in that kit. Pinning is a slow process that can take weeks to do. Just gotta be patient and mist as needed.

It’s hard to say what’s going on there. How much air is your stuff getting? I don’t see any kind of holes in that picture.

Ah there is only this one. It is a mondo grow kit and the instruction said there need no holes, just ventilate for 2minutes every day.

Well it is not looking bad. I do not have much experience with fruiting in bags. But if you are spraying water gently and ventilating it is probably going to work. Maybe you should ventilate 2 times a day but wait until some other people post help here too.

I agree (can we stop saying ventilate though)
Yeah I would open it up a couple times a day depending on how it is reacting. Looks starving for FAE at this point.

Ooo that is green trich contamination and needs to he thrown out. Some of those fruit MIGHT be ok but the trich is so close to them it may be hard to tell if it's growing on them and could make you very sick and is not worth the risk.

I’ve eaten from a Trich sub before. Though personally I wouldn’t eat the ripped open looking infected dead one. But most important is to get that out of your place before it turns mad green and fills your life with spores you don’t want to be breathing or have hanging in your grow area.

The back ones should be ok.
I’d just rinse them then dehydrate very well.
This happened when I was out of town and they were fine.

You're good 👍 at least from my experience lol. Just cut off the bases if you're feeling paranoid. Fruits are good though, you'd be able to clearly tell if they were inedible

100% okay. A cube is a cube is a phrase you'll hear a lot on here. All cubensis contains psilocybin, the psychoactive drug we seek.
