I've been in isolation since January, since before the outbreak of the Corona virus. Not quiet sure what to expect. apparently the world is very different

Yeah maybe just...don't.
Unless you need groceries or something.
But I'd avoid the real world as much as possible if I were you.

Oh no I meant LosFreddy - I neglected the reply function.
If I were you I'd gtfo as fast as I could from Denver and society in general . It'll be good for your mental health, and anything that gets you away from people is A+

I wish I could, but I cant. I have to go to the airport to fly home. Getting dropped off just a little north of downtown. still dont know whether to uber or take the bus. Dont know if it makes much difference

I ordered a mask to HR, but apparently no one is in the office. I'm supposed to be given one here in a bit when I sign my end of voyage
Btw we are very close
I feel like there's a lot of kids information going around. Someone said that if you catch the virus and die, they cremate your body. I was reading that most people just have mild symptoms. a friend of mine went thru Seattle airport a couple weeks ago and the airport was empty and he hasn't gotten sick. I cant tell if people are overreacting or not

I feel ya bro. I wish I could ride this out on the boat or in Valdez. Them small towns are already isolated. just block the road off and dont let outsiders in

I'm self quarantining for at least 2 weeks. I'm glad I live 10 miles from any society.

My County just declared shelter in place for all residents. Once this situation gets statistically worse in my area I plan on setting up in my families farm in the countryside, lucky for me there's a herd of cattle on the property and very little neighbors, makes for safe pickings! Not too worried about getting infected, but I don't wanna be a burden to the medical facilities near me. Good luck and Stay Safe!

sounds like an awesome way to spend the quarantine my only option is to lock myself in the basement

My family doesn't want to see me because I'm traveling thru Seattle and they are scared. I already bought a ticket to Texas. I'm thinking of borrowing or renting a car and pitching a tent in a national park somewhere like Yellowstone or big bend. any suggestions ? I'm being serious

I've been staying quarantined myself but seem to keep asking myself... does it really even matter if just 1 person from China infected thousands of people? There are now so many cases world wide and so many states in the US are not mandating quarantines. There's just no way I personally see this virus going away anytime in the next few months but I suppose with social distancing it can certainly help. Some states haven't even quarantined till just a few days ago. They finally closed the florida beaches but seeing photos around the rest of the world in different countries and states many people just dont give a shit and people I care about a lot with many health issues is the reason I'm staying home. I'd avoid going out at least until this whole thing dies down a bit more. Probably another week for me but who knows. Not even getting a paycheck hoping to get that 1,2O0 but even that isn't enough. Should have been 2,000/2500...

What tent you got? I’m getting my gear together for the east coast Shroomery gathering and I gave away my last tent and sleeping bag to a homeless dude I knew. So I have to get some camping gear together
Since I’m riding my motorcycle and I can’t bring much gear I might just get a tarp, sleeping pad, and sleeping mat and call it good? It’ll look something like this

Hopefully things are cleared up by the time of the gathering, now that I have no job I can actually go
That bike/tarp setup looks cool honestly. Could do a bivy sack if it's a buggy or tick filled area. I think REI and other places rent tents and stuff too. I have a lightweight tarptent that I love for backpacking
And lostfreddy isn't yellowstone still pretty snowed in this time of year? Plus I've heard a lot of state and national parks might be shutting down for a bit
