Hi Socrateshroom,
I’m glad to hear from you. These indeed are troubling times; UK is on lockdown. Really weird headspace, totally unprecedented.
How are you, more importantly my friend?

Hey there friend! Sounds like you and your family are healthy, so I'm happy to hear.
Yea it's been rough. I live in one of the epicenters in the USA and things are bad here. I've been at my lowest point ever in the midst of all of this. Sitting at home with no work, gym is closed, and I'm giving in to my vices. And like you said, it's all around a weird sort of existence at the moment.
But, ultimately, I can be thankful that, for now, I'm healthy.
Unfortunately, due to everything going on, something came up and I couldn't have my 4g trip and I'm spiraling in the wrong direction mentally and spiritually.
But I'm happy to hear from you, it's the pick me up I needed.

Thinking about Experiencing Psychadelics for the 4th night in a row. Working from home is the tits.
With the lockdown and all the craziness it feels like the breathing patterns of my walls are the only thing keeping me sane. ain’t that ironic...

You stay safe brother, and I trust you are well, I can sense there’s a lot you’re not saying, so I’m sending vibes. I hope you get your journey soon, I feel for you. I’m aiming for one tomorrow night, if the day is calm. I think me and my family have been really lucky in all this so far.
Stay safe ❤️ DJ Ed

I'm an introvert but even this lockdown is too much for me.

Hi Socrateshroom,
Yes I did manage a trip last night, but it wasn’t all I’d hoped it would be. Was to be my first trip from frozen mushroom tea (ie. fresh). But I don’t think I should have let the ice cubes thaw out naturally. I ended up with what looked like browny coloured egg yolks, floating in a clear lemony liquid!
Very disappointing trip, which then became very powerful, but still unenjoyable.
When this happens, it’s the worst of all worlds; because I now have to wait to try again, to assure my self it was my method not the mushrooms that let me down!
No visuals, no headspace, but I did manage to get negative thought loops though! All focused around negative energy in the world, and surrounding my house. Not ideal,,though at this early stage, it may not have been the surrounding energy, but the poor tea that resulted in this.
Take care DJ Ed

Hello, I hope you've been well. I'm hoping everyone else is well, too. The alarm is warranted but the panic is the real problem. If everyone would relax a little bit we'd still have toilet paper and hospitals would have more gloves and masks. I worry for my grandparents but they've always been healthy and they've just been watching movies and enjoying being old so I'm glad they're doing good.
I've been doing extremely well, better than I have in years. I was on a serious upswing in life since around November before everything started and I'll be damned if I let it ruin my progress. I'm determined to thrive in this chaos.
Things aren't so bad here yet, I'm on the outskirts of a major metro area but in a different county that's not as stringent, but it seems like hysteria has plateau'd which I hope starts to dwindle in the coming week. Plane tickets are incredibly cheap for the next few months so I've been booking a few. Worst case, they get cancelled and I have some flight credit. Best case I have super cheap flights to cool places.
I've started a new ritual I refer to as photosynthesis. I just go out in my backyard in my underwear every morning and smoke a blunt while I absorb sunlight. The warm sun on my skin contrasts beautifully with the cool morning breeze. I let my cat out and he poops in the sand and I watch him do cat stuff in the yard before he goes to adventure in the small forest out back. I've been doing it for almost two weeks now and it's a great way to start the day.
I took a little bit of acid randomly on Wednesday, cleaned my kitchen, ground up some cinnamon in my pestle and mortar, listened to a few albums, and I had a great time. I'm quite experienced and rarely have a bad time, I'll probably be tripping a lot during this with all the time I have in between projects.
-------------------- No one likes a naysayer It's probably fine. Even if it's not fine, it'll eventually be fine. So it's fine. PE Adventure
