No Need To Make A Poll.
Like The User Above Said, Panaeolus (Copelandia) Cyanescens Does Not Grow Wildy In California.
They Also Do Not Grow On Woodchips, Grass, Or Soil. They Are Dung Lovers.

Microscopic studies? No, I think they're pretty much useless.

It’s a bit blue where I sliced it. Is there any way to confirm? Thanks for all the help.

or it can be Gymnopilus in the aeruginosus-luteofolius clade. can't remember if thiersii is that clade or not and to lazy at the moment to look.

i dont think g. thiersii has been formally evaluated in terms of clades but, considering it is nearly identical to some members of the aeruginosus-luteofolius clade, i'd say it is likely a member
