Not much at all, but I caught some fish when I got bored of not finding anything
Three dinky morels, a jelly fungus an unknown coprinoid mushroom, and a very stinky stinky horn

Thanks man!
That is a small spring out in the middle of the woods, that I stocked with tons of fish!
Before I stocked it, it only had turtles and frogs, but no fish.
That fish is actually a green sunfish, although it could be a hybrid because I threw a bunch of pumpkin seeds in there too.
I catch all kinds of sunfish crosses out of there!

Ah Yes, Sunfish Breed With Eachother So Much That It's Nearly Impossible To Catch 2 That Look Exactly Alike.
I Grew Up Fishing Freshwater, All My Life.
Now I Fish Saltwater Down Here On The Gulf Coast (Texas). Saltwater Fish Are Cool, But I'm Just A Freshwater Guy.

Yeah, when I lived down south, I did a lot of saltwater fishing, but I always loved freshwater more for some reason.
You should see all the weird hybrid sunfish that come out of that spring. I put so many different kinds in there!

I love bream, they are my overall favorite freshwater fish to eat and catch. There's nothing like catching 1lbs Bream on ultralight tackle, the fight they have in them pound for pound is phenomenal in my opinion.
edit: it sounds gross, but maggots are the crack of bream fishing

Heck yeah man! I use a tiny rod and reel, and when you hook a big old bluegill, it feels like you have a bass!
I've got a great spot that I'm hitting up tomorrow to hunt for mushrooms and fish, I'll see if I can snag a few of the monster bluegill in there and post some pics!

I'm serious about the maggots, but any larva works great. Blue gill (especially big bulls) will usually stop biting after one or two are caught unless you find a bed. My grandfather taught me to carry a small container of maggots or grubs I found and to toss a small handful in the water and they frenzy, if fishing crystal clear water using 1lbs test line and a tiny hook (can't remember the number hook)with a quill float and larva, you will slay them.
edit: u can raise clean maggots in corn meal, no putridness needed.

Oh, I didn't see where you mentioned maggots for some reason.
I've never tried them before.
I raise worms, so it's all I fish with.
I catch big crappie, bass, bluegill, catfish, ect, on nothing but earthworms.
I have never used lures, nor will I ever.
Here is a nice crappie I caught a week or so ago with a tiny earthworm.
