Thanks for the encouraging feedback. Our goal in creating this survey was to make it as easy as possible. We thank everyone from the Shroomery community for their interest and support.

Would have been nice to have an age when you first did psychedelics. First time was LSD around 16 so it's a bit hard to go back 28ish years. Only thing I really remember is being young dumb and full of cum like any other teenager/young adult.
"Has there been a death (or what ever) in the family effecting your sense of well being?" would have also been a helpful one to understand why everything was great, then after psychs, shit went down the tubes.
Leaving these two type of questions out kinda pollutes the purpose of the survey IMO.
Pscyhcs can only do so much to brighten the world when a large part of you died when your partner died. I will say the winter of high dose tripping every week at least gave me something new and fresh to look forward too. As well as realize useless thoughts or regrets can be ones downfall.
There is little doubt they saved me in the long run but the loss of a mate is an unfillable void and just as life changing as the psychedelic experience.
Therefore: my results showed that psychs make your sense of well being decline before and after which isn't necessarily the case.

I noticed the same, perhaps change the wording to specify that during the time of psychedelic activity or give a time window. It’s been 20 years, sure I had a sense of awe and new found love for life.

I wanted to contribute, but I started taking psychedelics 15 years ago, as a teenager and I feel that would skew the results.

Hi, I just filled the survey. Thank you for your work. Maybe sharing this on several subreddits such as r/LSD, r/shrooms, r/Psychonauts, r/Psychedelics, r/DMT etc will help getting this survey out there? Maybe asking the mods to make it sticky would help get it more attention?

Where do you stand on legalization?
I'm not going to add my voice to a survey that will aid a tool that is going to be used to benefit the pharmaceutical corporations.
Not so sure you're on the right website here, Saundra Jain. You smell way more like enemy to me, than friend.
Sorry lady. You and your husband smell like elitist neoliberalis.
Edit: This in particular made me barf.

a couple of the questions wouldn't allow me to choose certain answers, such as the cannabis misuse/abuse question, it wouldn't allow me to click on no change and there's another one I can't remember but it did the same thing.

I did the survey- I fully support the intention of your study, however, how do you expect to get meaningful data? You don’t ask about age of first use, or how long it’s been since we took them, or about mental health diagnoses and whether these preceded psychedelic use or came after, or what else might account for changes in wellbeing (other major life events)...

Done. Hopefully the results are not used against this community or used out of context like many others.

It was a little hard to answer because my first experience was so long ago, before I had any idea there were benefits to doing it, but I tried my best. I've only used micro/macro dosing over the last few years but I've definitely noticed a shift. Thanks for keeping the research going, this is world changing.

Done as well. The more research and scientific studies that are done on psychs, the more accepted they will become. Hoping to do my part

Took this survey, also have been involved in a microdosing study.
Seems to me, microdosing/macrodosing is more effective then most psych meds I have tried, with way less side effects. Also not having to take a medication daily is a huge plus. (Downside for big pharma )

can I ask what your psych diagnosis is? I've been around psychedelics for over 3 decades and I have only personally witnessed negative effects from psychedelics in 5 people and they all were diagnosed with the same disorder. So, I'm curious the hear what other mental health patients have to say about their experience.

ADHD, maybe bipolar (psychs just change between the two constantly)

I’m am just entering this world to help free me from depression. I learned about micro dosing psilocybin & was highly interested, considering I spent years with psych doctors experimenting with multiple cocktails to treat my depression & anxiety. I know it’s cliche to say, but I kinda had an awakening experience a little over a year ago and decided to stop taking meds. My problems appeared to be untreatable, so I felt the need to look for alternative ways to help heal my DIS-ease. I applied for a “micro dosing psilocybin“ study here in Florida but hadn’t heard anything back. So, now I’m doing this on my own and hoping to see a shift in my quality of life.
Do you have any recommendations for my journey?
Thank you 🙏🏼
