What route should I take with these resources?

So I've just completed my first monotub and now have these resources:
-2 different spore syringes from a sporetrader vendor. -Couple spore prints I've taken myself from my first tub. -Empty 10mls with guages. -Petri dishes, agar, food colouring, scalpels, tweezers, light malt, parafilm, thermometer. -Active mushrooms ready to take clones. -PC -A jar almost colonised brown rice -Rye grain just arrived
What would be the best route? Make my own syringes? Spore print to agar? SS to agar or straight to rye?
Thanks and mush love

anything to agar.
id save the prints for later/marketplace trading
just use a drop from the syringe to inoculate the agar plates. or drop the solution onto a sterile swap/loop and swipe

I'd clone to agar til you have clean cultures.

Thanks for the quick reply, will do that. I have agar powder, light malt extract, a boiling beaker and Petri dishes.
Two questions: Do I need yeast? And, will my boiling flask work as a pouring bottle? Liquid doesn't run down the side of the bottle. Or should I go and get a small vodka bottle?
I've not done agar yet, any other tips? Storing the dishes upside down is the only one I can remember.
Thanks man and everyone else that replied.

No yeast. I second cloning, it’s the shit when you get a good one then you can save it.
Pretty much anything you can sterilize will work for pouring. I’ve seen beer bottles, those little glass Starbucks bottles.

Pour your plates in a stack starting with the bottom dish and working up. Heat rises, causing less condensation. Fill a pint or quart jar with hot water after you pour your last plate and carefully sit it on top to help cut down the rest of the condensation.
Don't bother sealing your plates with Glad Wrap or parafilm until after you've inoculated. Just carefully put them back in the plastic sleeve they came in and close it tight. I've stored mine for well over 6 months this way with no degradation of the agar. I pour them a little on the thick side.
Some people store their poured plates in the fridge. I leave my plates in the sleeve at room temp permanently as a control. At room temp things will grow in them faster if I've messed up, so it's easier to pull one out to use and know right away if it's fucked or not.
Mixed opinions on storing them upside down or right side up. I keep them upside down in the sleeve so they're easier to remove to use without accidentally opening them, and then right side up after inoculation.
Use permanent marker to make notes on the plate and go over it with a dry erase marker and paper towel to wipe it off or make a change if you need to.
That's all I can think of at the moment.
