Hawaiins from a honey lc. Rye spawned to coir and verm. Finally an even pinset. The difference this time? I didn't keep opening it every 5 min to look at it.

Pinning is my favorite time of a grow. At least when it’s pinning nicely like this. The harder you look the more you see and you know you’re gonna have a forest soon. Sweeet.

Thanks guys! Now that I know my sterile technique for agar is on point, I'll def be cloning one of these. Does it matter what flush you clone from? Any advantages over earlier vs later flushes? I've read the later flushes are less potent so I'm tempted to clone from my second flush if the first doesn't produce any beasts.

Same! It's when it starts becoming real! And yeah once you see a few, they all start popping out at you. Especially right when the knots are JUST before a pin (primordia?).
And yes Mitch will be missed. He's in my top 5 of all time.

no it doesn't really matter it's most likely going to be the same genetics but your first flush gives you more of an idea as to what to expect and later flushes have a higher contam rate but certainly doable

Congratulations, those are so beautiful, do you tend to trim as they go, or just let the tub full fruit then chop down the whole lot?

Thank you! I'm really tempted to do my first clone one from this flush but I'm still very under the weather with the flu. Stupid fever keeps coming back and I just don't have the energy. Hopefully 2nd flush makes some monsters and I can clone that.

I cannot believe how this tub turned out. I had to use every shelf of my dehydrator for the first time ever. I didn't even know where to begin picking. I didn't get a wet weight but will definitely post dry weight later.

Thanks guys! I'm excited for this next flush. This sub is TORN up though. These are not easy to harvest when they're so packed like that. It's an awesome problem to have. I'm just proud that it's all from memory at this point. I might need to reference ratios or something like that but I feel like I have it down.

Can't you just stick a monster fruit in a baggy in the fridge and clone it later when you're feeling better?

I suppose I could have.. I'm not really in a hurry though. It's not like I'm gonna have anything else to do for a while. Work is still out for the foreseeable future.
